Accolade's latest investment will be built in Świdnik, Lublin province. The Świdnik industrial park will consist of two buildings, offering 54,000 sqm of modern warehouse space. Most of the space is already leased to three manufacturing and logistics companies. The park will be located just 1 km from the border of the city of Lublin, where Accolade already has another warehouse park. The investor has been present in the region since 2015, and the new project will bring the value of its investment in the Lublin region to €115 million, covering 130,000 sqm of warehouse space.
Lublin and the surrounding area is a key logistics location for central and eastern Poland and areas across the eastern border. Accolade's new investment is located in a special economic zone, a 10-minute drive from Lublin's international airport, with quick access to routes S12 and S17. These roads provide connections to other major cities such as Piotrkow Trybunalski, Dorohusk, Warsaw, Zamosc and Lviv. Although the park is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2023, its current level of commercialization is already 65%.
"We have been present in Lublin for eight years, that is, since Accolade came to Poland. The warehouse park we opened then remains fully leased, and the potential of the region and the development of infrastructure in this part of the country have prompted us to make another investment." - Jarek Wnuk, Managing Director of Accolade in Poland, said. - "Our company feels committed to providing tenants with the highest quality warehouse space, and the new investment in Świdnik is another step towards achieving this mission. We are convinced that the Świdnik park will not only become an attractive place for business, but will also contribute to the further economic development of a region with great potential and access to skilled labor." - Wnuk added.
The new Accolade park will not only be modern, but like the other parks in the company's portfolio, it will meet the highest standards of environmentally friendly construction and operation. For example, according to the approved design, the roof will be adapted for the installation of photovoltaic panels, enabling sustainable energy production. BREEM certification at the "Excellent" level is also planned. In addition, the facility will have a significant impact on the development of the region, creating new jobs, as did Accolade's first park in Lublin, which provided 500 such positions.
Lublin is a diverse region that attracts both international and local brands in the logistics, retail and manufacturing industries. Accolade's Swidnik park was designed and adapted to meet the specific needs and requirements of tenants, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency. By creating jobs and supporting the local economy, Accolade's new development will be an important business center in the region.
