Polish development company 7R has finalized the sale of the 7R City Flex Warsaw Airport I facility. The buyer is Macquarie Asset Management. The urban warehouse consists of three buildings with an area of 15.9 thousand sqm.
Macquarie Asset Management, on behalf of one of its clients for whom it provides asset management services, has acquired the 7R City Flex Warsaw Airport I logistics complex from 7R, MFC Real Estate, and DIL Polska Baumanagement. The transaction value amounted to approximately 29 million euros.
This is another transaction between Macquarie Asset Management and 7R. In November 2021, the investor also acquired urban warehouses from the 7R City Flex Last Mile Logistics line located in Wrocław, Gdańsk, and Łódź.
7R City Flex Warsaw Airport I is a class A investment that combines both ecological design and high-quality logistics space. The complex is located in a well-connected area - just 3 km from the Chopin international airport in Warsaw and 8.5 km from the city center - while providing excellent access to the S2 expressway and the A2 motorway, leading towards Germany and the western regions of Poland.

Furthermore, the company Avenger Flight Group operates the first training center for commercial aviation in Poland there.
In 7R City Flex Warsaw Airport I, modern solutions have been applied, including: LED lighting, additional natural lighting for loading dock zones, skylights and smoke vents, gas heaters, and sprinkler systems. In order to reduce heat loss, the facility has also been equipped with destratifiers, which help to equalize air temperature. The complex also holds a BREEAM certificate, which is awarded to facilities that meet stringent criteria in line with the idea of sustainable industrial construction.
