Panattoni is rapidly expanding its Tricity portfolio, supporting the development of the entire region and providing new jobs. The developer has started construction as part of the Panattoni Park Tricity East III project, which upon completion will reach 44,300 sqm, of which 33,600 sqm is already leased.
Panattoni was one of the first representatives of the industrial real estate sector to recognize the enormous potential of the Pomeranian region, where it has delivered approx. 600,000 sqm to date, which is nearly half of all resources. The immense attractiveness of the market is confirmed by another construction project starting – as part of the Panattoni Park Tricity East III project, which upon completion will reach an area of 44,300 sqm, of which 33,600 sqm of space is already leased by representatives of the logistics and food industries. The park is characterized by an excellent location near the Port of Gdańsk – the second largest on the Baltic Sea – which recorded another historically highest transshipment volume last year.
“The Tricity region is the largest port hub and one of the most economically developed regions in the country, and it also has access to two important transport corridors: to the Baltic states and connecting Scandinavia with Southern Europe. To meet the enormous potential of this location, rapid growth in industrial real estate resources was necessary, which we have been observing in recent years. Panattoni has played a huge part in this, contributing to the further development of the region, attracting international business and creating jobs” – says Martyna Sochaczewska, Leasing Director at Panattoni.
Tenants recognize the attractiveness of the region. The Tricity market enjoyed demand at the level of approx. 400,000 sqm in 2022 and, along with the Lublin market, ranked just behind the so-called Big Five. The main driving force remains the Port of Gdańsk, where as much as 68.2 million tons were transshipped in 2022 (28 percent more than a year earlier), and the handled volumes have increased by 170 percent over the last 10 years. The Port of Gdynia is also developing, which was responsible for handling over 28 million tons of cargo, which was a result 5.6 percent better than a year earlier.
Panattoni Park Tricity East III will be equipped with a range of sustainable solutions. The developer will, among other things, reinforce the roof for the installation of photovoltaic panels, and will also apply technologies to reduce water and energy consumption.
