BEGA Gruppe grows in MLP Poznan West

BEGA Logistik Polska, part of BEGA Gruppe, has contracted another warehouse hall of about 6,500 sqm. After its construction, it will benefit from a total of about 33 thousand sqm of modern space at the MLP Poznań West logistics park.

BEGA Logistik Polska, part of the furniture company BEGA Gruppe, is expanding dynamically at MLP Poznan West. In accordance with the agreement, it has ordered another warehouse hall of about 6,500 sqm of space. After its construction and commissioning, the furniture manufacturer will have a total of just over 33 thousand square meters of space at its disposal. Of this, nearly 32.7 thousand sqm will be used for storage purposes, while offices and social areas will make up the remaining more than 370 sqm.

In line with the developer's strategy, the new hall will meet BREEAM certification requirements, which will translate into lower operating costs. The work of the general contractor has been entrusted to WPIP, a Poznan-based company with many years of experience in the construction of warehouse facilities.

BEGA Logistik Polska is part of the German BEGA Gruppe. BEGA Gruppe is engaged in the wholesale furniture trade. Since its establishment in 2002, BEGA Gruppe has gained a leading position in the European market. Its product range includes almost all types of furniture - room furniture, children's furniture, office furniture, tables, chairs, upholstered furniture, kitchen furniture, etc. These include both assembled and self-assembly furniture.

For us, the new agreement confirms that MLP Group's offer is characterized by high quality. At the same time, the environmental protection solutions applied are very important for tenants. We subject all newly constructed facilities to the Breeam certification process. We are installing photovoltaic panels on the roofs of warehouses, and we are putting bike sheds, electric car charging stations and insect houses in the park. At every stage of the investment, our Group cares not only about the environment, but also about the comfort of the users of the logistics park," stressed Agnieszka Góźdź, Member of the Management Board, Chief Development Officer, MLP Group S.A.

The modern MLP Poznań West distribution center is a complex located on the western side of Poznań, next to the S11 expressway and just 7 km from the intersection of the A2 freeway and the S11 route. The center is aimed primarily at companies in the e-commerce, logistics, distribution and light manufacturing sectors. The MLP Poznań West project will ultimately provide more than 140,000 sqm of state-of-the-art warehouse and office space. Selected buildings have been awarded the prestigious BREEAM certificate.
