Construction of Panattoni Park Kraków East II has started

Panattoni announces another park in the Lesser Poland region. This time, the developer has focused on the eastern part of the Kraków agglomeration, right next to the Targowisko A4 junction, where it is developing Panattoni Park Kraków East II with an area of nearly 19,000 sqm. The first tenant – the company KENIG Spedition – will occupy 9,200 sqm at the turn of July and August this year, conducting both logistics and service-production processes for its clients – manufacturers of pallets and packaging.

Panattoni Park Kraków East II, with an area of 18,700 sqm, is an example of a modern multi-tenant facility dedicated to various processes, as evidenced by the presence of KENIG Spedition. The tenant will use 9,200 sqm, which will be divided into two independent parts, in accordance with the processes carried out for the company's clients. In the first part, in addition to warehousing, pallet servicing will be conducted, including their painting. For this purpose, a 300 m long production and repair line will be created, and a special shelter for pallet storage will be located next to the building. In the second part, KENIG Spedition will sort packaging – including cans, bottles, and separators – including washing selected product groups. Air humidity control will be in effect in this part.

One of the strengths of Panattoni Park Kraków East II is its location. The investment is being built east of Kraków, right next to the Targowisko A4 junction, which is located just 40 km from the city center. "This is a great alternative to industrial space in Kraków, where supply is low, and rental rates pose an additional barrier for potential tenants” - comments Michał Samborski, Head of Development at Panattoni -  "The location of Panattoni Park Kraków East II near the Targowisko junction makes it possible to serve not only Kraków itself along with the cities belonging to its agglomeration, but also urban centers such as Bochnia, Tarnów, or Dębica. Furthermore, many industrial entities are locating in the vicinity of the junction, which increases the business potential for the tenants of our park”.

For the KENIG Spedition company, presence in the dynamically developing market in Lesser Poland is a key aspect for consolidating its position in the TSL industry. After the company's successful debut in the demanding German market, the board's attention was once again drawn to the domestic market. The desire for expansion in Poland is dictated by growing demand in the contract logistics sector and new opportunities related to the automation of logistics processes. Thanks to the professional and diligent efforts of the company's representative, Ms. Marta Nowik, and the highly competitive offer from PANATTONI, the company will be able to conduct its logistics operations in modern warehouse space of the highest possible standard. In Targowisko near Kraków, KENIG will serve two large global clients” - reports Adam Kenig, owner of the KENIG Group.

In line with sustainable development. Panattoni Park Kraków East II, like all newly emerging Panattoni investments within its portfolio of own parks, will undergo the BREEAM certification process at the Very Good level. To apply for this rating, Panattoni implemented appropriate solutions to improve the specification, maintenance, and operation of the building throughout the entire period of using the investment already at the project management stage. The realization of the park will require subcontractors to have an ISO 14001 system, and furthermore, the developer focuses on construction products with a voluntary Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), or with chain of custody certification in accordance with PEFC and FSC requirements for products containing forest raw materials. Green spaces and relaxation zones will be created around the building's glazed offices, as well as bicycle infrastructure, and the vegetation will be adapted to local atmospheric conditions. Due to the permanent workplaces dedicated to production and service processes, the space for Kenig Spedition will have increased access to daylight.
