In autumn, Fey's factory space will increase to 18,000 sqm. The two-story office building will have an area of 500 sqm. The new production hall, with an area of 4 thousand sq. m, will be equipped with a 50 kWp photovoltaic installation, with the possibility of further expansion.
"The expansion of the plant is the next stage of a consistently implemented strategy, resulting in the strengthening of our position on the market thanks to an increasing number of orders. We intend to increase employment at the plant. We are looking for about 70 people, including production and office workers." - says Zbigniew Rogulski, operations director at Fey.
The complex under development is located in Topoly near Chojnice (Pomorskie Voivodeship), surrounded by the Tuchola Forest. It consists of production, office and warehouse space and belongs to Fey, part of the German capital group FEY & Co. GmbH, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of continental beds.
WPIP Construction is the general contractor for the project.
"The agreement we have concluded with the renowned manufacturer of beds and mattresses makes us strengthen our place among the leading general contractors implementing industrial investments in Poland. Participation in the development of Fey will make the manufacturer's presence in European markets stronger after the expansion of the plant. This is our trusted partner, with whom we have been working since 2017." - says Janusz Signetzki, CEO of WPIP Construction.
WPIP's tasks also include the construction of external infrastructure, including parking spaces.
The project is scheduled for completion in October 2024.
