HARDEN CONSTRUCTION starts a green investment in Jaworzyna Śląska

HARDEN CONSTRUCTION is starting the construction of a production hall with an office and social area. The production plant, along with storage yards, will be built in Jaworzyna Śląska and is being carried out for RECTOR Polska Sp. z o.o. – a manufacturer of prestressed concrete precast elements.

RJS RECTOR JAWORZYNA ŚLĄSKA is the name of the investment launched in June 2024, which involves the construction of a production hall with an office and social area and external grounds. The investment, for which HARDEN CONSTRUCTION is the general contractor, will have a usable area of over 2000 sqm. In addition, over 20,000 sqm of paved surface will be created.

The ongoing investment is located in Jaworzyna Śląska in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, 65 km southwest of Wrocław and 50 km from the A4 motorway, which is the most important transport route in southern Poland.

The building will be constructed using the design-build formula. It will also be the responsibility of the general contractor to obtain the building permit and the occupancy permit. Construction is scheduled to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.

Among the works to be carried out by HARDEN CONSTRUCTION is the execution of complex reinforced concrete works for the technology of the investor, who is a manufacturer of concrete precast elements. All this also requires very good coordination of construction works. The aforementioned technology from France and Italy, which includes, among other things, a production line, a drying room, and a concrete batching plant, will be used in this factory for the production of precast elements.

– The investment is quite unique, as it is not often that we use structural elements produced by the investor during construction. During construction, RECTOBETON and RECTOLIGHT prestressed floor slabs will be used, as well as precast blocks in the internal walls of the hall. The building itself also had to be adapted to the technology for producing concrete blocks. Interestingly, the production that will take place inside the building will be highly automated. Only six people are expected to work in the process – comments Łukasz Kozerski, Operations Director at HARDEN CONSTRUCTION.

Energy-efficient materials that minimize energy loss will be used in the warehouse hall. Among them are mineral wool and sandwich panels with a low thermal conductivity coefficient. In addition, windows with thermal insulation glass panes will be used.

RJS RECTOR JAWORZYNA ŚLĄSKA is a building in which materials have been used to limit heat loss as much as possible. The walls used in the building have a thermal conductivity of U=0.19 W/m2K. In turn, the transparent surfaces that are non-openable have an even lower coefficient. This makes it an energy-efficient buildingPaweł Fiuczek, Managing Director at HARDEN CONSTRUCTION.

Photovoltaic panels with a total capacity of 100 kWp will be installed on the roof of the investment, and energy-efficient LED lighting fixtures will be used to illuminate the building. Furthermore, decanting tanks will be installed, which will allow for the reuse of used water, e.g., for washing machines.

In addition to energy-saving and ecological solutions, the building is also distinguished by a huge biologically active area. In total, green areas will occupy over two hectares, which means that the biologically active area ratio will be nearly 50%.
