LCP Properties, one of the leading investors and developers on the Polish retail park market and expanding its small warehouse unit (SBU) business under the Multipark brand, has leased four modules in its Multipark Bydgoszcz and Multipark Zabrze projects for a total of 1,400 sq. m. The company has been awarded a building permit for a new SBU. The company also has ambitious plans for the further development of this part of its business, and this is confirmed by the construction permit granted for Multipark Sosnowiec.
This project, with a total of nearly 8,300 sq. m. GLA will open in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Among the new tenants of SBU Multipark in Bydgoszcz is a manufacturer of specialized products supporting animal health and development, which has leased a space converted into two modules in this project, i.e. 600 sqm. In addition, MSU Rental, which has recently been present at the property and provides comprehensive services to companies in the area of renting and servicing work and protective clothing, has decided to expand and thus increase its space to a total of 600 sqm.
A new tenant at SBU Multipark in Zabrze, which signed a contract for one module, i.e. 500 sqm. (300 sq. m. of warehouse space and 200 sq. m. of office space) has become Polifarb Gliwice, i.e. a nationwide distributor of paints and varnishes for home and industry.
The company's next investment, Multipark Sosnowiec, will be built in the northeastern part of the city, on Modrzewiowa Street. On a plot of nearly 25,000 sq.m., two buildings will be constructed with a total of nearly 8,300 sq.m. of leasable space, of which 7,200 sq.m. will be warehouse space and about 1,100 sq.m. - office space. The new SBU under the Multipark brand is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2024.
"We are finalizing the commercialization in existing projects and launching new ones - thus we can confidently say that we are realizing the ideal scenario, and thus maintaining a good procedural pace in the further development of our SBU segment and the Multipark brand." - commented Magdalena Kowalewska, COO, LCP Properties in Poland.
"Today we are officially announcing a project in Sosnowiec, and we will soon reveal more details about our upcoming investments. We have conducted market analyses and are already noticing interest in both Sosnowiec and the locations for which we expect building permits soon, which gives us all the more wind in our sails and energy to move forward." - she added.
