Panattoni secures another tenant in the developing Panattoni Park Wrocław XIII. LX Pantos, one of the largest logistics operators in Korea and Southeast Asia, will occupy as much as 43,500 sqm in the new park – more than 3 times what was originally planned. This is not the first collaboration between the two companies, and thanks to the new agreement, the space leased by the Korean company in Lower Silesian Panattoni facilities will exceed 100,000 sqm.
LX Pantos is the undisputed leader of the Korean market and one of the largest logistics operators in the Asia-Pacific region. The company is developing its operations in Poland by choosing Panattoni once again. The enterprise has once again opted for the developer's Lower Silesian portfolio and leased not 13,500 sqm, as initially planned, but 43,500 sqm. Thus, it began its operations in the new space of Panattoni Park Wrocław XIII with an expansion, becoming the complex's largest tenant. The choice was not accidental. –
„Lower Silesia and its capital are becoming a hub for an innovative economy, which has been particularly favored by investors from South Korea. It is currently the largest Asian investor in the country. The total value of direct Korean foreign investments in Poland already exceeds 3 billion euros. Korean corporations are investing intensively primarily in the area related to electromobility, electronics, automotive parts production, and the chemical industry. Near Panattoni Park Wrocław XIII, among others, LG Energy Solutions operates – one of the world's largest manufacturers of automotive lithium-ion batteries, as well as LG Electronics – one of the global leaders in the electronics market” – explains
Damian Kowalczyk, Development Director, Panattoni. It is precisely these Korean giants that LX Pantos Poland has been serving for years. The company leased its first space from Panattoni in 2013, and 6 years later consolidated its logistics operations into 72,000 sqm at Panattoni Park Wrocław XI. Now it is once again expanding its warehouse resources to meet growing demand. –
„Our new warehouse in Panattoni Park Wrocław XIII shows how quickly the market is developing. When we opened 72,000 meters together with Panattoni in one of the developer's Wrocław parks 2 years ago, this space was supposed to last us longer. After just a year, it turned out that it was not enough and we had to plan a major expansion. The volume of consumer electronics is growing by an average of 20 percent year-on-year, and electromobility is completely unpredictable. Problems with semiconductor supplies are affecting the entire supply chain, which in our case results in an accumulation of production materials in ports and warehouses. I think this is not the end and in a year we will return to further negotiations with Panattoni. ” – comments
Piotr Zienkiewicz, Senior Logistics Manager at LX Pantos Poland.Panattoni Park Wrocław XIII will ultimately consist of two buildings with a total area of 75,000 sqm. More than half of the planned space has already been handed over for use, and the entire investment will be completed in mid-2022. The facilities will be certified under the BREEAM system and powered by green energy. The park will include, among other things, vehicle charging stations, bicycle racks, green areas, and insect hotels.
The park's advantage is its location right next to the Pietrzykowice junction of the A4 motorway, where the region's most strategic roads intersect - the A4, E67, and A8, which constitutes the Wrocław Motorway Bypass. The excellent location, which is close to three European capitals (Warsaw, Prague, and Berlin), is particularly appreciated by logistics companies conducting international operations.
