Panattoni with another huge investment for the retail industry. The developer is building a BTS facility with an area of 87,300 sq m in Stargard, in north-western Poland. The investment will be used by TEDi – a German retail chain comprising 2,500 stores in Europe. Construction will be completed in October this year and will support the further development of the brand in the country, where the company doubled the number of its locations in 2021. The Szczecin region currently has approx. 1 million sq m of industrial space, and its potential is growing along with the development of the Panattoni portfolio. The developer has already delivered over 300,000 sq m of modern warehouse space here and is constantly increasing it.
TEDi is growing with Panattoni. The developer is building a BTS facility that will be used by the German discount chain TEDi. The investment is being built in Stargard and will reach as much as 87,300 sq m. The company has over 2,500 stores in Europe. In 2021, the company doubled the number of its locations in Poland – to 137 – and in 2022 it intends to exceed 200. The facility being built by Panattoni is to play a strategic role in the implementation of this plan. The location in Stargard will also help in the company's more intensive expansion in the western part of Poland. The new facility will store a full range of products sold in TEDi stores: everyday products, cosmetics, drugstore and household items, pet food, as well as decorative, gift and office accessories.
„Another representative of the retail industry at a stage of intensive development is relying on Panattoni, and the choice of the Stargard location, near the Panattoni Park Stargard currently under construction, confirms the huge potential of West Pomerania." – says
Dorota Jagodzińska-Sasson, Managing Director, Panattoni and adds –
„We are also pleased that the facility, which will be used by TEDi, has an extensive office segment. Once again, it is confirmed that industrial real estate also works perfectly as headquarters for various administrative departments of companies."The office space under construction for TEDi will amount to 4,000 sq m. The developer will prepare it in accordance with BREEAM certification guidelines. It will take care of, among other things, appropriate lighting, including increased access to daylight, thanks to panoramic windows. In addition, the rooms will be tested by a qualified acoustician. A green office landscape will also be created, and employees will be able to use benches made of ecological materials in the relaxation zone adjacent to the building. The developer will also provide bicycle shelters and electric car charging stations. Furthermore, the entire facility will be equipped with energy-saving solutions – including comprehensive metering or utility measurement divided into individual installations – as well as water consumption reduction – including water-saving bathroom fittings.
West Pomerania with unflagging potential. The Szczecin region, which just a few years ago was one of the emerging markets on the logistics map of Poland, today has approx. 1 million sq m of industrial space and huge potential for locating international operations. From West Pomerania, many companies – especially e-commerce ones – handle their operations both in Western European countries – such as Germany or the Netherlands – as well as in Scandinavia. The region's potential is growing along with the class A space being built, and over 300,000 sq m of it has been delivered by Panattoni, which is also currently building Panattoni Park Stargard.
A neighbor with international potential. The investment for TEDi will be located in the immediate vicinity of Panattoni Park Stargard – one of the developer's largest projects in the region. The complex, built in a strategic location, provides tenants with an excellent platform for international operations. It is located just 34 km from the A6 motorway, which is a continuation of the German A11 motorway and forms the Szczecin-Berlin connection along the international E28 road route to Russia (Kaliningrad), Lithuania and Belarus. Near the capital of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, the A6 is also part of the S3 expressway, which runs along the western border of Poland from the Szczecin-Świnoujście seaports to the border with the Czech Republic in the south. The route is part of the international E65 corridor, connecting Sweden with Southern Europe. A short distance from Stargard is also the S10 route connecting the seaport complex with the Warsaw agglomeration (583 km). Not far from the planned park is also the Szczecin-Goleniów airport. The park is 45 km from the center of the voivodeship capital.
