Panattoni has completed a production facility for Maxcess

Panattoni has handed over the keys to the new Maxcess factory. The production facility comprises over 13,000 sqm of modern space located in Łubowo.

The key handover ceremony took place on March 14 this year in Falkowo, in the Łubowo municipality near Gniezno. The event brought together representatives of the investor, the developer, and local authorities, highlighting the importance of the investment for the region. The new factory can provide employment for up to 350 people – twice as many as in the previous Maxcess plant, while the location will allow for the retention of the existing experienced team.

The new factory with an area of over 13,000 sqm plays a key role in the further development of Maxcess, a global leader in the production of industrial automation systems. The facility will serve as the company's central production plant in Europe, streamlining processes such as winding, guiding, slitting, or material transport. With a view to optimizing production processes, it has been equipped with, among other things, overhead cranes, busbar trunking systems, compressed air piping, gas distribution, and process water installation.

The development process of a build-to-suit facility differs significantly from standard investments. Our commitment to meeting specific needs is combined here with the design process and a completely individual execution, bringing an exceptional result. It is a great satisfaction for us and proof that transparency and mutual trust are the key to the success of ambitious projects. The Maxcess factory in Łubowo is another Panattoni BTS project that perfectly fits into our client's innovative vision and plays a strategic role in the development of a global company – emphasizes Maciej Zawada, BTS Development Director at Panattoni.

The new Maxcess plant is also an element of the company's sustainable development. The facility will be certified under the BREEAM method at the Excellent level, which confirms its high ecological standard. It has been equipped with numerous solutions to reduce energy and water consumption, including large glazing in the office area, skylights, and low and medium voltage switchgear with restricted access. Additionally, Panattoni prepared the investment for the installation of photovoltaic panels and took care of green areas. Nearly 150 trees of native species were planted on the plot, over 400 shrubs, a flower meadow was established, and insect hotels and bird nesting boxes were installed.

During the implementation of the project for Maxcess in Łubowo, Panattoni and Dekpol Budownictwo – the general contractor of the investment – also got involved in the life of the local community. Thanks to the commitment of the teams, the renovation of a homeless animal shelter building in Gniezno was initiated and carried out.
