Panattoni with new Build-to-own development for global brand. DHL Parcel is using the nearly 9,000 sq. m. cross-dock facility the company acquired late last year.
A perfectly tailored cooperation. Panattoni has regularly executed tailor-made cross-dock facilities for the DHL Group over the past five years. The developer has delivered, among others, two investments in Greater Poland, including a 105,000 sqm facility in Żerniki, where the Supply Chain division runs operations for the e-commerce clothing giant. Panattoni also delivered two BTS facilities in the Warsaw region for DHL Parcel, totaling 17,000 sqm: in Pruszków and Radzymin.
Successful realizations in the capital's market have confirmed the developer's capabilities, and it has completed another investment, this time in the BTO formula, for DHL Parcel, in Kostrzyn - 20 km from Poznań. At the end of December 2022, the company acquired a cross-dock facility of about 9,000 sqm. With a sufficiently large number of gates and a sorter, the investment effectively serves as a parcel handling center. As part of it, the company uses a two-story office, occupying nearly 1,000 sqm.
"The Bulid-to-own formula is always an expression of great trust, which in the case of cooperation with DHL Group has been built on the ground of many BTS realizations throughout Poland. This is also another facility we have developed for the company in the Wielkopolska region, which confirms the huge potential of the region for companies with an international reach - thanks, among other things, to the proximity of the A2 highway connecting Poznań with Berlin - the main logistics center of Central Europe," says Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director at Panattoni, and adds: - "The history of our cooperation with DHL is also the history of the increasing standard of sustainable realizations, as each successive one was more and more advanced in terms of green and energy-efficient solutions. It's a great feeling to add our contribution to the Go Green concept implemented by DHL and the company's drive towards zero carbon."
