Once again in the capital. The Warsaw warehouse market is developing rapidly, achieving the best results in the country in terms of both delivered and leased space. Urban facilities are becoming more popular every year. Panattoni has started the construction of another one – City Warsaw V. In Rembertów, 10 km from the city center, the company will deliver a building with a total area of 11,047 sq m, developed in accordance with the Small Business Units (SBU) concept. It will be divided into modules dedicated to smaller companies, which will be able to rent from 1,080 sq m. Thanks to its location within the borders of Warsaw, City Warsaw V will be an excellent base for fast transport in the city. The facility will work perfectly both in serving customers from the e-commerce, clothing, fresh logistics, or last-mile logistics industries, and the space can be used to create attractive showrooms. The investment, which is planned to be completed in Q2 2021, will undergo BREEAM certification at the Very Good level. Its premises will include, among others, electric car charging stations and bee hives.
"One of the key aspects of companies' competitiveness is their proximity to the customer and the speed of service. The awareness of enterprises causes a significant increase in the popularity of warehouses within cities, which are an excellent improvement for the e-commerce of our tenants. City Warsaw V is an answer to the needs of the market, which will increasingly need urban logistics. It is also a continuation of our activity in the region, where we leased over 180,000 sq m of space in the first half of 2020 alone. Interest from companies in our facilities is constantly growing, and we intend to satisfy this demand." - comments
Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director at Panattoni. The Warsaw region is definitely the most attractive place in the country for business development. Over 420,000 companies operate in the capital, of which nearly 10,000 employ over 249 people. The number of almost a quarter of a million students places Warsaw at the forefront of Europe and facilitates access to future specialists for enterprises. All this adds up to the highest GDP per capita in the country, which in 2018 amounted to 47.9 thousand euros per person, i.e. twice as much as the areas of other largest cities in Poland. The wealth of the region, the creation of new companies and the development of e-commerce generate demand for warehouses, the total area of which in Warsaw and its surroundings amounted to 4.64 million sq m at the end of the first half of 2020, the most in the country.
City Logistics Warsaw V fits perfectly into the landscape of a rapidly developing metropolis. The facility is located within the city limits, just 10 km from the center, which allows for efficient transport for companies operating in the capital. Furthermore, such a location provides access to developed public transport, which allows reaching the city center in less than 40 minutes.
