Panattoni and H&M Group are changing the industrial real estate industry. In February of this year, the developer started another green project for H&M Group. The facility with an area of 82,000 sqm will be delivered in October of this year as part of Panattoni Park Poznań A2 and will help support the company's e-commerce. The company plans to obtain BREEAM certification at least at the Excellent level. The facility for H&M Group, like previous projects, will be built without the use of PVC, and the developer will adapt the roof for a photovoltaic installation with a capacity of 700 kWp. In addition, the tenant will benefit from an increased number of skylights, a BMS system, and intelligent lighting. Regarding water savings, Panattoni will prepare, among other things, a rainwater recovery system. A drinking water treatment plant will also be built on the investment site, and domestic sewage will be discharged to biological sewage treatment plants.
The facility will employ a large group of workers for whom numerous amenities have been provided. They will be able to use, among other things, chargers for electric cars, infrastructure for cyclists, a gym, and an outdoor terrace, a volleyball court, a boules court, or a central drinking water installation in the office.
By the end of this year, the space delivered by Panattoni for H&M Group in Poland will exceed 300,000 sqm, and every subsequent meter is a brick added to the green revolution in the entire industry. Facilities built without PVC, using RES, as well as numerous energy and water-saving solutions are milestones for sustainable construction and an example for the entire sector of how many aspects an investment can be ecological – says
Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director at Panattoni.Close cooperation with Panattoni was dominated by professional, substantive, and goal-oriented interaction. Clothing retail is a constantly changing business, and this project has the best conditions to further strengthen and increase the competitiveness of the distribution process, future development, and growth of H&M Group - says Michael Schulz, Regional Manager East Europe Logistics at H&M Group.
Cooperation in green colors. The cooperation of Panattoni with H&M Group – a Swedish clothing giant operating in 75 markets globally – has lasted almost from the beginning of the developer's operations in Europe, and all previous projects are an example of sustainable facilities with a very high standard. The first of the facilities delivered by Panattoni, started in 2006, eventually occupied 82,000 sqm. Solar panels for water heating were installed on the roof of the investment, the developer increased access to daylight, and also created a rainwater recovery system. Most importantly, however - among the materials used to build the hall, there could be no PVC or polystyrene.
