Panattoni will build another logistics center in Western Pomerania - Panattoni Park Stargard. The investment will consist of three halls with a total area of as much as 172,000 sq m. Its advantage is its location - at the junction of the transport corridor from Scandinavia to the south and routes to Berlin. Construction of the park will start later this year.
In Western Pomerania, Panattoni has built nearly 500,000 sq m of warehouse and industrial space to date. The region is becoming extremely attractive for companies that distribute their goods not only in western Poland, but also to Scandinavia and Germany. This is an advantage of the nearby port in Świnoujście and the border with Germany. Stargard is 134 km from the border crossing in Świnoujście, and it is only 80 km to the crossing in Lubieszyn. The capital of Germany – Berlin – is located just 170 km away, which is three times closer than Warsaw.
„Germany has been our main trading partner for years, but now Poland is emerging as the main supplier of goods to Germany in Europe. The German Federal Statistical Office has just reported that for the first time, Poland has become Germany's fifth most important trading partner, overtaking Italy in this ranking and placing behind China, the Netherlands, the USA, and France. This indicates the growing importance of Poland for German foreign trade. Last year, trade turnover between our countries amounted to nearly 123 billion euros” – says
Dorota Jagodzińska-Sasson, Managing Director, Panattoni.Panattoni Park Stargard will be developed on Metalowa Street on the outskirts of the city. A total of 3 buildings will be built on a 30-hectare plot, each of which will have just over 57,000 sq m. Tenants from various industries will be able to use flexible modules that will allow for both warehouse and production process handling. The park will be certified under the BREEAM system at the „Very Good” level, thus meeting high environmental requirements. Tenants can therefore count on significantly lower operating costs in terms of water and energy consumption. The developer will also take care of the natural environment around the park and the well-being of the future employees of the park.
The park will be just 34 km from the A6 motorway, which is a continuation of the German A11 motorway and forms the Szczecin–Berlin connection as part of the international E28 road route to Russia (Kaliningrad), Lithuania, and Belarus. Near Szczecin, the A6 is also part of the S3 expressway, which runs along the western border of Poland from the Szczecin-Świnoujście seaports to the border with the Czech Republic in the south. The route is part of the international E65 corridor, connecting Sweden with the South of Europe. A short distance from Stargard is also the S10 route connecting the seaport complex with the Warsaw agglomeration (583 km). Not far from the planned park is also the Szczecin-Goleniów airport. The park is 45 km from the center of the voivodeship capital.
