Sunrise Medical first tenant in MLP Gorzow

Sunrise Medical has leased 9.2 thousand sqm of modern space at MLP Gorzow. Sunrise Medical has thus become the first tenant of the new logistics center. The new facility will be ready for use as early as February 2024. As planned, the investment will undergo BREEAM New Construction environmental certification, at the Excellent level.
MLP Group has concluded the first lease agreement for the MLP Gorzow logistics center, which is being built from scratch. Sunrise Medical has ordered a total of 9.2 thousand sqm of modern space. Of this, manufacturing and warehouse space will occupy 8.1 thousand sqm. The tenant will also benefit from a modern 3-story office equipped with an elevator and other facilities for people with disabilities, with a total area of 1.1 thousand sqm. The contracted space is scheduled to be handed over in the first quarter of 2024.

Sunrise Medical is a global leader in the development, design, manufacture and distribution of manual wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs, scooters and both standard and customized seating and positioning systems.

The space leased to Sunrise Medical is located in a hall whose construction began in May this year on a speculative basis, i.e. without any preexisting leases. This phase of the project will include a facility that will ultimately offer 20,000 sqm of modern warehouse space.

MLP Group is firmly committed to sustainable development in the expansion of its warehouse portfolio. This will also be the case with the construction of facilities in MLP Gorzów Wielkopolski. In the case of the first hall under construction, the goal is to obtain the BREEAM New Construction environmental certificate at the Excellent level. The facility will be adapted to use green energy. The project will also include the installation of heat pumps, electric car chargers and bicycle racks, among others.

MLP Gorzow will be built on a plot of 11.7 hectares. Ultimately, it will offer a total of 53.3 thousand sq. m. of warehouse and light production space. The logistics complex will be aimed primarily at tenants from the e-commerce, logistics, distribution and light manufacturing sectors.

MLP Gorzow is located on the western side of Gorzow Wielkopolski. The park is located 9 km from the city center, in the immediate vicinity of the road junction of the S3 expressway. A huge advantage for investors is also the proximity to the border with Germany, which is only 53 km away, and to Berlin about 135 km. The capital of Lubusz Voivodeship is a city that is developing extremely intensively, with a very well-developed infrastructure and a qualified workforce.
