Technoform production plant at Panattoni Park Kraków West III completed

Panattoni has completed another production plant in the Kraków region. Technoform, a leading manufacturer of components for insulating glass, will use 9,400 sqm of space developed in a BTS formula. From this facility, it will serve the Polish market and foreign markets in the EU. The project was financed with a loan of approximately 8 million euros from Credit Agricole.

Technoform owns 45 factories and sales offices in: Europe, America, and the Asia-Pacific region. The company is constantly improving its production processes, creating innovative products tailored to the most demanding projects. The next stage of development is the relocation of one of its existing plants to a modern factory in Skawina, which was built as part of Panattoni Park Kraków West III – just 20 km from the regional capital. – "Technoform is a major market player that has been building its position for several decades. When such a company commits to development in the region, it confirms the enormous potential of both Kraków and its surroundings, as well as Skawina itself, which has become a zone of industrial activity, concentrating the operations of powerful, international companies. Małopolska proves that it is a good place to locate production plants, which is becoming a huge asset in the era of the reindustrialization of Europe," says Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director at Panattoni.

Within the new plant, the company will produce insulating elements for insulating glass, as well as store finished products. The investment will allow for the service of the domestic market and numerous European markets. International operations will be supported by the facility's location in the vicinity of a section of the DK44 road, which serves as the Skawina bypass, close to the A4 junction, which proved to be an additional advantage for the efficient relocation of the existing plant. Panattoni Park Kraków West III allows for reaching the Polish-Slovak border in about 80 minutes and the Polish-Czech border in less than 2 hours. The motorway runs less than 10 minutes from the investment and provides good connections to the south-western border with Germany and the south-eastern border with Ukraine.

The park was built in accordance with Panattoni's high standards and will undergo environmental certification using the BREEAM method at the Excellent level. The developer has implemented, among other things, dusk sensors for outdoor lighting and intelligent energy management systems. Furthermore, the tenant will benefit from white sanitary ware and water-saving sanitary fittings. Panattoni has also prepared infrastructure for cyclists and will take care of planting trees, shrubs, and flower meadows on the investment site, enriching the local ecosystem.

A loan of approximately 8 million euros for the investment in Skawina was provided by Credit Agricole – "The population of Małopolska is approximately 3.4 million inhabitants, ranking second in terms of population density among all voivodeships in Poland. This translates into business and industrial interest and the desire to locate new investments, as well as a record-low vacancy rate on a national scale. This is also a very important aspect for financial institutions that provide loans for projects in Kraków and the surrounding area, seeing the very high development potential of the region," comments Karina Trojańska, Chief Financing & Operating Officer at Panattoni.

To meet growing demand, Panattoni is delivering further industrial facilities, having already completed over a quarter of a million sqm of space in the region, with a vacancy rate of 1 percent. The developer's investments are used by, among others, international logistics operators, e-commerce leaders, and global manufacturers.
