Atman, a leader in the Polish data center market, has commissioned the first of three buildings at the Atman Data Center Warsaw-3 (WAW-3) campus in Duchnice near Warsaw.
The new facility offers 14.4 MW of power for IT equipment and is powered by 100% renewable energy.
This is the largest investment in the company's history and one of the most important projects supporting the digitalization of the economy in Poland and the development of the data center industry in the region.
The total target budget allocated for the construction of the entire campus is estimated at 2.5 billion PLN.
The WAW-3 campus, located right next to Ożarów Mazowiecki on a 5.5-hectare plot, combines strategic logistical advantages with the most modern technological solutions in terms of power supply, cooling, and telecommunications. Responding to the needs of the most demanding business clients and public institutions, WAW-3 guarantees availability, scalability, and reliability that meets international quality and safety standards. The first of the campus buildings provides 6,324 sqm of IT space and 14.4 MW of IT power. The facility was designed following best practices in sustainable development: it provides best-in-class energy efficiency and uses technical water in a closed-loop system. This is a solid starting point – subsequent stages of the investment, including the construction of the second and third buildings, will allow for flexible resource expansion in response to growing needs. The entire infrastructure has been planned with the future in mind – ready for the challenges of digital transformation and the dynamically developing data market.

This investment takes us to a new level as a data center service provider not only in Poland but in the entire CEE region – which is confirmed by the trust of the financial institutions financing our project. This is another step in our expansion in the area with the highest concentration of business, which strengthens Warsaw's position as a key data hub in the region and reinforces the Atman brand as a world-class partner supporting the strategic development of clients – emphasizes
Sławomir Koszołko, CEO Atman. The creation of the data center is driven by Atman's mission, the foundation of which is ensuring stable, uninterrupted access to data – in line with the non-stop-data philosophy. With this investment, the company is introducing high-density colocation, cooled by closed-loop liquid cooling, to the Warsaw market – ready to host and build AI Factories with the highest requirements. Thanks to this, WAW-3 can effectively support the development of IT environments for global companies and hyperscale providers.
Ultimately, the WAW-3 campus will include three buildings with a total colocation area of nearly 19,000 sqm, offering 43 MW of IT power and space for over 50,000 servers. Future facilities will be equipped similarly to the first building, which has dedicated security zones and full logistical infrastructure – including loading docks, warehouses, and parking lots – providing clients with comprehensive operational support, while dedicated teams responsible for security and technical support oversee the continuity of the data center infrastructure. The schedule for the implementation of subsequent investment stages will be closely linked to the pace of commercialization, which will allow for flexible adaptation to market needs.
It is estimated that the total computing power available in domestic data centers will exceed 500 MW by 2030, and the limited availability of connection power in mature FLAP-D hubs is directing investor attention to second-wave markets – including Warsaw. Located in a strategic location, the WAW-3 campus was designed with the future in mind – to support digital transformation and meet the requirements of the most advanced IT environments. Its innovative design, resource scalability, and technological solutions in power and cooling set a new level for the development of the Polish colocation market. Moreover, WAW-3 is 100% powered by renewable energy, which makes it a symbol of a responsible approach to infrastructure development – modern and sustainable.

The growing demand for digital services and the increasing workloads associated with the use of artificial intelligence require reliable, easily scalable infrastructure with high computing power. The WAW-3 campus is our answer to these needs – and our advantage. Anticipating market development trends, we were the first in Poland to implement a project of this scale and technological advancement – adds Sławomir Koszołko.
The company's excellent financial condition has been noticed by both Polish and foreign institutions. The result of this trust was the granting of a 1.35 billion PLN loan to Atman by a consortium of six financial entities. Importantly, the loan agreement goes beyond standard financial requirements – it also includes ambitious commitments regarding energy efficiency and sustainable development, in line with ESG principles. This is confirmation that Atman is not only developing dynamically but is also consistently implementing a strategy of responsible growth – reducing energy consumption and building a positive impact on the environment.
