3LP, a rapidly growing logistics operator headquartered in Siechnice, Lower Silesia, and specializing in automated outsourcing of logistics services for e-commerce entities, is opening its next location in Syców on an area of over 17,000 sqm.
Lower Silesia is one of the fastest growing regions and an important point on the logistic map of the country and 3LP's warehouse in Sycow on Szosa Kepinska Street not only provides efficient access to the Wroclaw agglomeration, but also proximity to the A4 highway or the S-8 road, which is its undeniable transportation advantage.
- Comprehensive logistics solutions for increasingly demanding e-commerce from various industries require the provision of A-class warehouses that ensure the highest level of service quality, process flow security, and the use of modern technology and automation to maintain supply chain continuity. The post-pandemic change in consumer habits has resulted in a lot of growth in e-commerce, which has realistically affected logistics service and thus prioritization in the selection of warehouse locations. Syców, due to its location in the surroundings of the so-called "furniture basin," along the S8 route with its high capacity, the planned restoration of rail traffic for residents to commute to work, and clear zoning plans, was the best possible choice for one of 3LP's warehouse locations, explains Maciej Posadzy, 3LP's CEO.
The 3LP warehouse in the Hillwood Syców logistics park includes more than 17,000 sqm of 12-meter-high space and a 2,000 sqm outdoor storage yard equipped with 18 loading docks equipped with hydraulic docking platforms, allowing for more efficient use of storage space and increasing warehouse throughput.
The entire facility is covered by 24-hour monitoring and security. Inside the facility, the start of a comprehensive logistics service has already provided 11,500 pallet spaces suitable for storing goods on EUR pallets weighing up to 700 kg, as well as 7,500 sqm of non-rack space for storing non-standard pallets and 1,100 shelf spaces for small goods.
The facility employs the latest technological and ecological solutions that, among other things, increase energy efficiency, such as LED lighting, a system for intelligent energy management, and is surrounded by a flower meadow and plants that do not require mowing.
- Thanks to investments from logistics operators, we can more effectively respond to the needs of our residents, for whom, in addition to housing, new and attractive jobs are equally important. In this regard, the presence of investors from the logistics sector is particularly important, as they play the role of experts and are ready to share their knowledge by improving the qualifications of employees, as well as offer support in the implementation of logistics solutions that shape our current reality. The new headquarters of logistics operator 3LP is extremely valuable to us, as I am deeply convinced it will result in new jobs and contribute to building further business relationships," says Dariusz Maniak, Mayor of the City and Municipality of Syców.
3LP bets on local recruitment
With the opening of a warehouse in Syców, 3LP is targeting and inviting business partners for fulfillment cooperation, and wants to build a warehouse team of several dozen employees in a short period of time, consisting largely of warehouse workers, forklift operators, maintenance workers and facility administration. A simplified recruitment process has been launched, recruiting employees from the municipalities of Syców, Oleśnica, Międzybórz and Perzów. As part of the recruitment plan being implemented, 3LP is establishing cooperation with city authorities, labor offices and the educational sector to offer not only friendly working conditions, but also development opportunities for employees.
- 3LP's investment will create more jobs in Syców, and cooperation with the local government will also bring new opportunities for those interested in switching to logistics or local relocation. We are confident that the ongoing recruitment among local residents will also contribute to their greater involvement in the development of our business. Our experience shows that cooperation with the local community has a positive effect on both sides, on the one hand increasing the quality of the services we provide, and on the other hand increasing the level of employee satisfaction, which we observe in the form of low employee retention rates," adds Damian Krzympiec, 3LP's Operations Director.
The 3LP multi-client warehouse will provide comprehensive logistics services to the e-commerce industry, especially for the furniture, automotive or cleaning industries. The fulfillment services provided will include the receipt of goods, warehousing, timely shipments, handling of returns and complaints, or additional services such as repackaging or kit creation. The service also includes delivery of goods to customers using leading courier and transportation companies. The company will currently serve 7 business partners at its warehouse in Syców, and further commercialization of the facility is planned. The warehouse's capacity allows for the installation of an additional 10,000 pallet spaces, which will also translate into an increase in the number of employees.
