Bank Pekao S.A. finances further Hillwood projects
Production and warehouse space developer Hillwood Polska has signed loan agreements with Bank Pekao S.A. this year for the construction of three warehouse parks: in Częstochowa, near Rawicz and in Łazy near Warsaw, for a total amount of over EUR 89 million.
Hillwood Polska and Bank Pekao are linked by long-standing, fruitful cooperation. Last year alone, the bank provided credit to finance six Hillwood projects, totalling €155.4 million, financing projects in Łyszkowice, Łódź and Słubice, among others.
The projects financed this year will deliver a total of more than 144,000 sq m of modern warehouse space to the market. Hillwood will also build the relevant road infrastructure as part of its investments.
All logistics parks are BREEAM certified as a commitment to sustainable construction and environmental care. The Hillwood Częstochowa City project has already received BREEAM certification at the Excellent level.

In the process of financing the three projects, Bank Pekao S.A. was supported by the team of the Warsaw office of the law firm CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang, while the law firm Clifford Chance provided support to Hillwood.
