LCube has completed the LCube Rzeszów Airport project. During the ceremony, which took place on May 29 at the park, both the modernity of the solutions used in the construction and the ecological accents, which were not missing from the completed project, were emphasized.
LCube Rzeszów Airport, is an industrial and warehouse park being developed in two stages, the construction of which began in 2021. On a plot of 5.5 hectares, 25.8 thousand sqm of modern Class A warehouse space has been created, where the first tenants are already successfully operating.
"LCube Rzeszów Airport is our first project. Today, when we are already present in many regions of Poland, we look at this investment recalling both the fears that accompanied us, such as those related to global risks, , but also through the prism of the success that has undoubtedly been achieved here. We have shown that the Rzeszów region, can be an interesting distribution market, which needs modern logistics space, among others for companies associated with e-commerce," said Adrian Biesaga member of the LCube board, during the ceremony.
One of the tenants of LCube Rzeszów Airport, is a distributor of frozen products - REN Group, for which min. cold and freezer rooms have been prepared. Distribution is also handled by another tenant of the facility - online drugstore Cocolita, while Kartony24, which supplies min. packaging dedicated to, among other things, e-commerce, is also associated with e-commerce.
"When realizing LCube Rzeszów Airport, we wanted the solutions used to support our tenants, but also to emphasize our approach to ESG issues, or ecology in the broadest sense. Thanks to the determination of our team, many of these aspects have already been implemented, which is crucial for us, as it translates directly into the value of our investment today." - added Michal Stachura, LCube board member.
LCube Rzeszów Airport has been built in accordance with BREEAM certification at the very good level, and among the solutions used, it is worth highlighting LED lighting, or the preparation of the roof already at the construction stage for the installation of a photovoltaic installation. The roofs of the halls have also been equipped with a deflection monitoring system, based on Sense S-One and DSW sensors, along with weather alerts and a "Smart Roof" application. Insect shelters or bicycle shelters and electric car charging stations have been prepared for the park. A system for detecting faults on the sewage system with the ability to automatically shut off the water supply has also been implemented.
LCube Rzeszów Airport was designed with a fire load of more than 4,000MJ/m2, which guarantees increased fire resistance of the buildings. The high class of the facility is also emphasized by the possibility of high storage, thanks to the clear height of the building - 10 meters.
