Galvion to start production at 7R City Park Gdansk Airport I

Galvion has leased an area of about 3.6 thousand square meters at 7R City Park Gdansk Airport I, which will house not only a hall for the production and assembly of combat helmets, but also facilities responsible for service, support, modernization and training.

- We expect demand in NATO and European countries for our ballistic helmets to reach 1.5 million units by 2025. Galvion is committed to delivering value to its global partners and programs, with an emphasis on responsible regional operations. By expanding to the European continent, we will be able to increase deliveries, and support customers around the world more quickly. After a long search for a suitable location, we have chosen Poland and the Gdansk area. We look forward to starting operations in the region and expanding our capabilities in the future. 7R City Park Gdansk Airport I consists of three halls with a total area of 40,500 sqm, equipped with ecological and innovative solutions that favor the environment and ensure high work comfort, as confirmed by the BREEAM certificate at the Very Good level. The project features, among others, a 250 kWp photovoltaic installation with the possibility of expansion, top-quality thermal insulation of the walls, daylighting will be supplemented by LED lamps. The park is located in an attractive location - just 800 meters from the S6 route exit, 13 km from the center of Gdansk, 4 km from Lech Walesa Airport and 25 km from the port of Gdynia.

- 7R specializes in building high-quality warehouses, but also production halls, tailored to the needs and specifics of our customers' operations. The growing importance of Poland also as a European manufacturing hub has increased demand for modern industrial facilities, such as 7R City Park Gdansk Airport I.
