Panattoni is partnering REGESTA in its expansion. The logistics firm, which recently leased 33,000 sqm in Ruda Śląska from the developer, has now signed another contract to lease almost 36,000 sqm in Panattoni Park Tricity East V. This will be the largest space to be used by Regesta, doubling the company’s current warehousing facilities.
In the coming months work is to start on the first building of Panattoni Park Tricity East V, which will have an area of 50,000 sqm. Over half – 35,900 sqm – has been leased by REGESTA, which is to start using the centre from Q1 2024. It will be the most modern facility in the operator’s portfolio and the location of the development will allow the company to work with the port container handling of the Baltic Hub and the BCT as well as to expand the services it offers in regard to sea shipping.
“In a short space of time, Regesta has leased almost 70,000 sqm in two Panattoni centres – one in Gdańsk and the other in Ruda Śląska. These two contracts for large spaces – both of which are of record-breaking size for the tenant – demonstrate how much Panattoni has to offer rapidly growing businesses. By supplying almost 600,000 sqm of modern industrial space in the TriCity, we are enabling our business partners to grow in a key location with access to the nearby port and good infrastructure and we are supporting the development of the entire region,” says Marek Dobrzycki, the Managing Director w Panattoni.
“The warehouse in the TriCity is part of our strategy to diversify. Offering sea shipping and accompanying services such as container transport, a comprehensive customs service warehousing, picking and packing and also distribution, gives us a competitive advantage and allows us to expand the range of our clients, whom we currently serve from our warehouse in Gdańsk Kowale. The new space comprises 35,000 sqm of block and rack storage, a picking and packing area, a cross-dock, a bonded customs area and offices of a modern design for services, freight forwarding and a customs agency,” says Marcin Szostak, the Logistics Director at REGESTA S.A.
“To meet the expectations of the market and our clients, we are expanding our warehousing space in the TriCity. The location, which is in the direct vicinity of the rapidly expanding Baltic Hub port, is no accident since for us it means that we will become a major logistics operator offering a comprehensive service to provide clients with a complete supply chain,” says Natalia Szuba, the PV Project Manager at REGESTA S.A. “We have the resources and the potential as well as the full capabilities to organise intercontinental import and export via sea as well as full-load and groupage transport, international road haulage and comprehensive logistic services, all of which we are proud to offer to our current and future clients.”
Panattoni Park Tricity East V will meet extremely high standards. The development is to be certified under BREEAM for a rating of ‘Excellent’ and is to be equipped with numerous energy and water saving solutions as well as those to improve the environment, biodiversity and user well-being. The park will also benefit hugely from its location near the A1 motorway, the TriCity bypass and the Baltic Hub Deepwater Container Terminal.
