Panattoni extends sponsorship agreement with Adrian Meronek

The first year of this partnership was full numerous successes with the golfer gaining his highest ever ranking in his career. He also received an invitation and took part in the Masters, the most prestigious tournament in the world held in the US state of Georgia. The sportsman also has a high chance of being selected for the team to represent Europe during the prestigious Ryder’s Cup tournament.

The partnership between Panattoni and Adrian Meronk supports the golf professional’s international career. The company became the sportsman’s main sponsor in April 2022 and in July, Meronk was the first Pole to win the DP World Tour, the world’s most important series of golfing tournaments. He took first place in the Horizon Irish Open, a tournament that has been held annually for almost 100 years. Additionally, in the final days, Adrian Meronk won the DS Automobiles Italian Open, a prestigious tournament held in Italy. This victory strengthened the player’s position as one of the candidates for the European team to take part in the Ryder Cup, in which every two years teams from Europe and the US face off against each other. A further success Adrian Meronk achieved during his partnership with Panattoni was for him to reach the highest ranking of his career, coming 46th in the OWGR.

To further popularise the sport, Panattoni also organises golfing tournaments. Among others, the developer was the Main Sponsor of the 21st Annual EurobuildCEE Golf Tournament.

The partnership with Adrian Meronk is not the only Panattoni investment in national sport. Panattoni also has numerous football partnerships, which include having for many years been the Main Sponsor of Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała. The company also supports two football academies: the Łukasz Piszczek BVB in Goczałkowice Zdrój and the Widzew Łódź Academy. The developer began working with the former in 2019 and is currently its Main Sponsor. In just under three years, this has led to the reconstruction of the football pitches, the adaptation of the recreational areas with the construction of new locker rooms, the provision of regeneration physiotherapy facilities and the construction of a support building. Collaboration with the Widzew Łódź Academy was launched at the beginning of 2022 and the strategic partnership allows the club to reach higher levels in its sport and organisation.
