Panattoni has started construction in Ruda Śląska

Panattoni is heading for a third million square meters in Silesia. The developer is expanding in Ruda Śląska, among other places, where it has already leased 200,000 sqm.

Konimpex is a company founded in Konin that operates globally - it has locations in many European countries like Romania, Turkey and France, but is also present in China. However, it is in Poland that the company's headquarters remains, and the development of operations in the country is particularly important. The next step is to lease the entire 16,000 sqm building within Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska II. 

"Having a location in the center of the Silesian agglomeration, close to Konimpex's existing base, will allow the company to increase the volumes handled and expand its handling infrastructure. The development of the Silesian portfolio is proving to be an asset for both long-standing partners and new customers - such as Konimpex. We hope that this is the beginning of a long-term cooperation." - says Tomasz Sikora, Senior Leasing Manager at Panattoni. 

Konimpex will conduct warehousing and logistics processes within the facility. The location with good access to two highways is crucial in the distribution of goods: A4 and A1. The investment will undergo BREEAM environmental certification at the Excellent level, and Panattoni will equip it with solutions for energy efficiency, water conservation, biodiversity, as well as user wellbeing.

Space like fresh rolls. The space being developed by Panattoni in Ruda Slaska is being leased at lightning speed. The developer has already completed 160,000 sqm at Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska I, II and III, and is expanding the second project by 16,000 sqm for Konimpex. All three developments have been fully commercialized, and also close to full occupancy is the remaining under construction first stage of Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska IV, where 33,000 sqm. of the planned 45,000 sqm. has been leased to logistics operator Regesta. In total, the developer has already found tenants for 200,000 sqm within one of the fastest-growing industrial centers in the province.

"The strength of Ruda Śląska is that it has not become a basin of one particular industry, but customers with diverse specializations, from logistics, courier and e-commerce companies, to light and heavy manufacturing with international reach, rely on this location. The central location in the agglomeration, on the one hand guaranteeing access to two highways, and on the other to the region's huge population, is an attractive option for any business." - Tomasz Sikora concludes.
