Panattoni receives financing for a centre in Ruda Śląska

Panattoni has recently started construction of another hall within Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska II. Now the company has secured financing for the investment. The EUR 9.4 mln loan was provided by Millennium Bank.

“Last year, we at Panattoni received over EUR 800 mln in bank financing for the development of our projects and we are not slowing down. We have just received a loan to construct the third building in Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska II. This is no random location in Silesia. It is a region that is particularly attractive to both tenants and investors. It saw the most leasing activity by far in 2023 as it benefits from a well-developed infrastructure and a large labour pool with high technical qualifications. Ruda Śląska itself is one of the fastest growing cities in the region. We want to thank Millennium Bank for their trust, which is going to lead to thousands of additional square metres of modern industrial space as well as the further development and job creation that this entails,” says Karina Trojańska, Chief Financing & Operating Officer – Poland at Panattoni.

The new stage of Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska will comprise an area of 16,000 sqm that has been fully leased to Konimpex – a Polish company with a global reach involved in the sale, logistics and distribution of chemicals and industrial raw materials. The tenant is to use the building for warehousing and logistics, for which the nearby A4 and A1 motorways play a crucial role.

Panattoni developed almost 200,000 sqm in Ruda Śląska and together with the space that is still under construction, developer commercialised even bigger volume, which demonstrates the city’s huge potential. Being located in the centre of the Silesian urban area with excellent transport connections and having access to the region’s huge labour pool are advantages that result in the region being selected by clients with many different specialisations from many different industries.
