Panattoni is not slowing down in Greater Poland. The developer has started construction of Panattoni Park Poznañ East II, with an area of about 35,000 sqm. The realization will be financed by Bank Santander, allocating the sum of 18 million euros.
The Poznan region has been a key logistics hub for years, continually maintaining its place in the so-called Big Five - the markets with the highest volume of industrial space. Wielkopolska reached 3.5 million sq. m. by the end of 2022, of which more than 40 percent was completed by Panattoni. The huge demand for modern space delivered by the developer in the region is driving further investments, and the unwavering attractiveness of the market is attracting financial institutions. A prime example is the allocation of more than PLN 80 million by Santander Bank for the development of Panattoni Park Poznañ East II in Robakowo. As part of the facility under construction, with an area of about 35,000 sq m, space has already been leased to Geodis - a world leader in transportation and logistics - which will begin operations in October this year.
"Poznań's excellent location, halfway between two key economic centers of Europe - Warsaw and Berlin - makes dozens of industries, led by e-commerce or logistics, want to locate here. The huge potential for business, but also the still very large space for further development of the region, attract the attention of financial institutions that want to invest in the region. We would like to thank Santander Bank for its trust and another fruitful cooperation. The interest in the new park already shows that it is worth participating in its development." - says Karina Trojańska, Chief Financing & Operating Officer at Panattoni.
Panattoni Park East II attracts tenants with its very high standard and BREEAM environmental certification at the Excellent level. The investment will be equipped with numerous solutions in the field of ecology, biodiversity or wellbeing. A very strong advantage of the park is also its location, which provides easy communication with the most important regions in Poland. In addition, it is an excellent point for distribution towards Western Europe and Scandinavia. The facility is located near the A2 highway, and not far from the investment the highway intersects with the S11 expressway (Poznań Krzesiny interchange), which will allow access from Silesia to Pomerania, and the S5 (Poznań Wschód interchange) - connecting the capital of Wielkopolska with Wrocław in the south and Bydgoszcz in the north.
