Side Grup will move into MLP Bucharest West

A leading distributor of cleaning and hygiene products, operating on the Romanian market, has leased nearly 6,000 sqm of modern space at the expanding MLP Bucharest West logistics centre. The new facility will be operational by the end of this year.

MLP Group has concluded a lease agreement with a leading distributor of cleaning and hygiene products on the Romanian market. Side Group will use nearly 6,000 sq m of modern space at the MLP Bucharest West logistics centre, relocating its operations there. The new space will simultaneously become Side Grup's distribution centre in Bucharest, catering to customers in the HoReCa, retail and industrial segments. The tenant will use 5,200 sqm of space for warehousing purposes and modern offices will occupy a further 380 sqm.

"We are delighted to be able to support Side Group in their growth plans by offering brand new space within the expanded logistics centre. The construction of the facility, with a section for our new tenant, is nearing completion and will be handed over for use by the end of this year. In line with our standard, all new investments meet the highest environmental standards and are BREEAM-certified," - Olga Melihov, Country Head Romania, MLP Group, emphasised.

MLP Bucharest West is a Class A logistics and production park located on the ring road in the north-western part of Bucharest, in the Chitila district. It is built on a plot of 18.3 ha and will ultimately provide 99,000 sq m of warehouse and light industrial production space. As part of the first phase, a facility of 22,000 sq m of space was delivered in 2021, which is now fully leased. The second phase of development started in May this year, with a plan to deliver around 16,000 sq m by the end of 2023. Situated in the western part of the capital, with excellent access to the Bucharest ring road, MLP Bucharest West is an ideal location for logistics and distribution operators.
