Panattoni completed a manufacturing plant for Maxcess

Panattoni handed over the keys to the new Maxcess factory. The manufacturing facility boasts over 13,000 square meters of modern space, located in Łubowo.

The key handover ceremony took place on March 14th in Falkowo, in the Łubowo Municipality near Gniezno. The event gathered representatives of the investor, developer, and local authorities, emphasizing the investment's significance for the region. The new factory could employ up to 350 people – twice as many as in the current Maxcess facility, while the location allows for the retention of the existing, experienced team.

The new factory, with an area of over 13,000 sqm, plays a key role in the further development of Maxcess, a global leader in the production of industrial automation systems. The facility will serve as the company's central manufacturing plant in Europe, streamlining processes such as winding, guiding, cutting, or material transport. With the optimization of manufacturing processes in mind, it has been equipped with cranes, busbars, compressed air piping, gas distribution, or technological water installation.

The development process of a bespoke facility significantly differs from standard investments. Our commitment to meeting specific needs is combined here with the design process and completely individual realization, bringing a unique effect. This is a great satisfaction for us and proof that transparency and mutual trust are the key to the success of ambitious projects. The Maxcess factory in Łubowo is another Panattoni BTS realization that perfectly fits our client's innovative vision and plays a strategic role in the development of a global company – emphasizes Maciej Zawada, BTS Development Director at Panattoni.

The new Maxcess facility is also an element of the company's sustainable development. The building will be certified with the BREEAM method at the Excellent level, confirming its high ecological standard. It has been equipped with numerous solutions to reduce energy and water consumption, including large glazing of the office part, skylights, or low and medium voltage switchgear with limited access. Additionally, Panattoni prepared the investment for the installation of photovoltaic panels and took care of green areas. Nearly 150 native species trees, over 400 shrubs were planted on the plot, a flower meadow was established, and insect houses and nesting boxes for birds were installed.

During the project for Maxcess in Łubowo, Panattoni and Dekpol Construction – the general contractor of the investment – also got involved in the life of the local community. Thanks to the teams' commitment, the renovation of a shelter for homeless animals in Gniezno was initiated and conducted.
