Alior Bank is financing the construction of Panattoni Park Lublin IV in Świdnik

Panattoni launched construction of Panattoni Park Lublin IV in March. Eventually the centre will comprise almost 55,000 sqm and become a key logistics and production centre for the region. The main support for the development is EUR 32.8 mln of financing from Alior Bank.

Panattoni has already delivered around 200,000 sqm in and around Lublin, driving the development of a region which only a few years ago lacked class A industrial space. The developer’s activities in the Lublin region and its impact on business have been noted by financial institutions. Alior Bank has granted EUR 32.8 mln in financing for the development in Świdnik of Panattoni Park Lublin IV, which is to comprise almost 55,000 sqm in two buildings. Three tenants have already been found for the complex including high-tech production companies.

“With another project in the Lubelski region, companies from many different sectors will be able to develop in this location as they see the potential of a growing market. Panattoni Park Lublin IV will allow production companies to create a superb platform and adapt the space to the requirements of their operations. We are extremely pleased with Alior Bank’s support, which proves that our investment in an emerging market has hit the bullseye and that financial institutions want to take part in the development of locations that are not so saturated. We are convinced that our activity contributes to the development of the region and will attract more foreign businesses,” says Karina Trojańska, the Chief Financing & Operating Officer at Panattoni.

Panattoni Park Lublin IV is to be constructed within the Special Economic Zone in Świdnik and will cater for the full range of operations including warehousing, logistics, production and e-commerce. The complex will comprise 55,000 sqm in two buildings, which will already have been completed before the end of the year. The park’s potential has already been proven with three firms having leased space before the launch of construction, which include high-tech production companies. Panattoni is to prepare the space that has been leased for the intricate production processes of these companies. The developer is also to employ a range sustainability solutions including preparing the roofs for the installation of solar panelling.

Rising regional potential. The Lubelski region is developing rapidly to become one of the driving forces behind all of Eastern Poland. Businesses from various industries are being attracted by the business-friendly attitude of the local authorities, the development of locations such as the Świdnik Special Economic Zone, the access to highly-qualified labour with almost 64,000 students graduating from college annually and also the growing volume of modern industrial space. The Via Carpatia international route, which is currently under construction and will cut through the region, is also of significance as it will eventually connect Klaipėda in Lithuania with Thessaloniki in Greece to become a key transport route for the Eastern part of the European Union.
