Industrial Park Poland by Hillwood with a new road system
Hillwood Polska is completing the expansion and modernization of access roads in the Stare Miasto Commune near Konin, which will connect the largest planned industrial and logistics park in Poland - Industrial Park Poland by Hillwood - with an area of over 600,000 sq m with the A2 motorway.
The works, which began in the middle of last year, included the expansion of the municipal road - Kasztelańska Street - on a section of approximately 500 meters, the construction of a new section of the municipal road with a length of approximately 950 meters and the reconstruction of national road No. 72 on a section of approximately 800 meters along with two roundabouts. The value of the investment, entirely financed by Hillwood Polska, is over PLN 20 million. Final acceptance of the project will take place at the end of August 2024.
The investment will provide an efficient connection to the A2 motorway not only for future tenants of Industrial Park Poland by Hillwood, but also for local residents. In consultation with the Stare Miasto Commune and GDDiKA, solutions were developed to increase road capacity while maintaining traffic flow and increasing its safety.
Industrial Park Poland is a project of Hillwood Polska located in the Stare Miasto commune near Konin, at the junction of the A2 motorway and national road No. 72. It is being built on a 137-hectare plot, where a modern logistics and production center with an area of over 600,000 sq m will be built.
