New 60 million euro investment strengthens Accolade's leading position in Szczecin

Accolade, an international investor in business infrastructure in Europe, continues to strengthen its presence on the Polish market. The company has acquired two new industrial locations in Szczecin, with the intention of increasing its portfolio by another 73,000 sqm of modern class A warehouse space. This investment is a continuation of Accolade's strategic expansion in the Szczecin region.

The investment on Kniewska Street in Szczecin is the next stage in the implementation of a plan to build a modern and sustainable class A warehouse with an area of over 31,000 sqm. Two halls will be built in one phase, which, thanks to their flexibility, will be suitable for various types of business. Nearly 11,000 sqm has already been leased to the first tenant, who provides logistics services for the e-commerce sector. The second investment concerns the area on Lubczyńska Street, where the construction of an industrial building with a target area of 42,000 sqm is planned. The total value of the investment is 60 million euros.

We are proud that we can grow in such a strategic region as Szczecin. Seeing the dynamic development of our tenants' business in the Park located in the Załom-Kasztanowe district, we want to enable them to further expand exactly when they are ready for it. Due to the excellent connection with Germany and Scandinavia and the location of the Park directly at the road, rail and air junction of Poland and Germany, Szczecin plays an extremely important role as a logistics hub of the European Union. The combination of high-quality modern and multifunctional industrial halls and the proximity to major European markets attracts global brands and contributes to the economic growth of the region. - comments Michał Białas, Country Head Accolade Poland.

Accolade has invested nearly 190 million euros in the development of warehouse facilities in the Szczecin region. Szczecin Park, which is the largest Park in the Accolade portfolio, offering over 220,000 sqm, and new locations in the Dąbie district, perfectly fit into the group's strategy regarding development in the north-western part of Poland. A convenient location and excellent infrastructure are the main advantages that make this place attractive for modern industrial companies. Szczecin, with approximately 410,000 inhabitants, is a large research and development center, possessing 25 higher education institutions with places for 45,000 students. The Szczecin-Świnoujście seaport, located two hours' drive from the city, is one of the largest in the Baltic Sea region and offers services in the field of international freight transport. The location of the Parks also allows for easy access to the S3 Szczecin-Legnica expressway, leading to the largest cities in western, central and southern Poland.

The volume of purchases made online is growing at a rapid pace, and the success of sellers is no longer determined by an exclusive boutique in a top location, but by properly managed logistics. There are more and more companies that want to carry out purchasing processes efficiently, and as part of our developing business in Szczecin, we are building high-quality facilities for them - adds Milan Kratina, CEO of Accolade Group.

Thanks to Accolade's investments, new jobs are also being created in the region. The Park in Szczecin alone offers about 4,000 jobs, available to qualified specialists, and this number will increase thanks to new investments. At the same time, the new Parks will meet the demand of companies that are increasingly looking for high-quality services and require above-standard facilities. The Parks in Szczecin aspire to the BREEAM certificate at the "Excellent" level, guaranteeing a sustainable and environmentally friendly approach. Accolade is a key investor in the warehouse space sector for modern business in the Szczecin region, and at the same time a responsible member of the community.
