P3's first investment in Upper Silesia

P3 has finalized the purchase of its third plot of land in southern Poland. At the same time, this is the developer's first investment in Upper Silesia, which is the second largest warehouse market in the country. A facility with an area of 22,598 sqm will be built on the plot of less than 5 ha, of which 20,332 sqm will be occupied by the warehouse and the remainder by offices. The building will be BREEAM certified at the „Excellent” level.

"Upper Silesia has long been in our investment plans. Due to its great economic potential, it is a region where we want to grow. That is why we are all the more pleased that, despite the limited availability of land in Katowice, we managed to acquire an attractive urban plot in this location. It is a brownfield property that fits perfectly into our sustainable development and geographical land bank diversification strategy. Its additional advantage, which will undoubtedly accelerate the entire investment process, is a current building permit." – says Bartłomiej Hofman, Managing Director P3 Logistic Parks in Poland.

The new P3 investment is perfectly located – on Lwowska Street, in the eastern part of Katowice, at the exit from national road number 79 and near the A4 motorway. The proximity of the Katowice Szopienice Południowe railway station and many bus lines ensures quick and convenient access to other parts of the city (including the center) and the Katowice agglomeration. Thanks to this, it will be a good choice especially for those tenants who care about a good urban location and access to 300,000 residents of Katowice, among whom they can find their employees.

"The plot we acquired is in a key location both from a macro perspective - the entire warehouse market in Poland, and on a micro scale – the Upper Silesia region. Thanks to the well-developed transport infrastructure, it will be possible to serve a large local market, other regions in the country, as well as Western and Central-Eastern Europe from our investment." – says Karolina Adamczak, Senior Development Manager P3 Logistics Parks in Poland.
