Panattoni Enters Belgium, Expanding Its Presence in Europe

Panattoni, the world's most active industrial real estate developer, is making its entry into the Belgian market.

Belgium plays a key role in the European logistics sector, thanks to its strategic ports and excellent connections to major markets such as Germany, France, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. Its favorable location makes it an attractive place for investing in multifunctional logistics facilities. Starting operations in Belgium is a strategic step for Panattoni, given the developer's rich experience in delivering high-quality, sustainable logistic facilities.

Jeroen Gerritsen has been appointed as General Manager, responsible for developing the company's presence in the country. Panattoni's first investment in Belgium will be in Wallonia, with construction planned to start in the fall.

To support further development in the new market, Panattoni has appointed Joren van Hout as Technical Development Director. With over 12 years of experience in the construction industry, both in the public and private sectors, Van Hout brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. In his new role, he will manage relationships with the public sector, contractors, architects, engineers, and other technical consultancy firms. He will also oversee the project development process, including technical feasibility studies, project integration with spatial planning, project execution, engineering, planning, budgeting, and construction process management.
