Panattoni has been awarded financing for a TRILUX factory in Świdnik

Panattoni has been granted financing to develop a factory for global lighting expert TRILUX, a company that specialises in hi-tech, environmentally-friendly B2B solutions. The loan of EUR 18 300 000 was granted by Alior Bank.

Panattoni has already delivered around 4 mln sqm of bespoke BTS space across Poland, which accounts for almost 30% of the entire volume developed in the country. This has resulted in Panattoni amassing vast experience in adapting projects to meet the demands of specific clients. Now the developer is constructing a manufacturing and development plant in the Świdnik Economic Activity Zone for TRILUX, the construction of which is to be financed by a loan from Alior Bank. The centre is scheduled for completion in June this year.

“TRILUX has entrusted us with the construction of an extremely important project – its latest factory, which will at the same time be its first in the Central and Eastern European region. This will be of strategic significance to the company’s expansion on an international scale. It will not only increase the firm’s manufacturing capacity but also improve its logistics and how it develops new products, which should eventually lead to the centre becoming a key hub for this part of the continent. Our task is to provide a centre perfectly suited to this role and in this case within an extremely short time. Panattoni specialises in developing manufacturing plants that are designed to measure, which has also been noticed by financial institutions. We wish to thank Alior Bank for granting us the financing for a project that is going to stimulate the development of the entire region, since the new factory will provide jobs for around 250 people,” says Karina Trojańska, the Chief Financing & Operating Officer at Panattoni.

The factory in Świdnik will have an area of 23,000 sqm and will form a part of TRILUX’s strategy for sustainable development. By shortening of transportation links to its European customers, the company will be able to reduce its carbon footprint and Panattoni is to ensure the centre meets sustainable construction standards. The building is to undergo BREEAM certification for a rating of Excellent.

The TRILUX Group owns six manufacturing plants in Europe and Asia and has been present in Poland since 2004. The company offers B2B smart lighting solutions for office buildings, industrial complexes, retail facilities as well as educational and health centres. It also offers lighting effects that are used in architecture both inside and outside buildings.
