40,000 sqm from Panattoni in Wrocław

Panattoni opens its doors to a global provider of technology for orthodontics and restorative dentistry in the EMEA market. The developer will build the company's first production plant in Europe - an investment of approximately 40,000 sqm will be built in Wrocław and will open as early as January 2022. It will provide employment for as many as 2,500 people. The factory will be built in accordance with sustainable development principles and will undergo LEED Gold certification.

Panattoni will build a 40,000 sqm factory, of which 20,000 sqm will be occupied by an extensive production zone. In addition, the investor will use a so-called clean room, i.e., a room with strictly controlled environmental parameters. In the plant, the company will primarily produce orthodontic appliances, and the new factory will allow for the delivery of transparent, removable aligners used in teeth straightening to further markets, produced using digital and 3D technology. The Lower Silesian factory will open as early as January 2022, and will ultimately employ as many as 2,500 people.

It is a huge honor for us that another global enterprise, while taking such an important step in its development, chooses to cooperate with Panattoni. Our position as a leader in delivered industrial space, confirmed by the latest PropertyEU ranking, is paying off, and the experience gained with subsequent advanced projects proves crucial for partners from the other side of the world – from the United States, or, among others, China”. -  comments Damian Kowalczyk, Development Director at Panattoni - „The investment is also extremely pleasing due to its impact on the region, the perception of Poland in the world, and above all, the local labor market. Furthermore, it will be a model of sustainable construction. This once again confirms that Panattoni delivers facilities that are important both for the development of local markets and the entire real estate industry”.

The investment will undergo certification in the American LEED system - at the Gold level. The facility is planned to include systems allowing for significant heat and water recovery, as well as significantly reducing energy consumption. Moreover, thanks to the technologies used, it will be possible to reduce CO2 consumption. The developer will also take care of employee comfort through increased light inflow and appropriate acoustics of the facility. Green relaxation zones will be created on the investment site, and building users will also benefit from infrastructure for cyclists or electric car charging stations.

The production plant will be built in the BTO formula in the warehouse and commercial hub of Wrocław, i.e., the Psie Pole district. Interest in the capital of Lower Silesia is not surprising. In the Global Cities of The Future ranking, it took the highest place among Polish cities and at the same time the first place in the world in the category of small and medium-sized cities. Wrocław, thanks to its strategic location, will provide the company with a convenient connection to centers such as Warsaw, Berlin, and Prague. The location of the facility will allow for quick access to the S8 route (Warsaw-Łódź-Wrocław-Prague) and A8 (Wrocław bypass), as well as easy access to the center of Wrocław (15-minute drive) and the international airport (30-minute distance). Furthermore, there are bus and train stops near the facility, which will be a significant convenience for the factory's numerous staff.
