Construction of two facilities at the 7R Park Szczecin complex has begun. Their total area will be nearly 58,000 sqm. This is the third major project by the developer 7R in this area. This month, a modern building for Hultafors Group will be commissioned, which will be the first automated class A warehouse in the country to use the AutoStore system. Meanwhile, the 7R City Flex Last Mile Logistics urban warehouse is already operating in the center of the capital of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Thus, Szczecin is becoming a strategic location for many Polish and foreign companies.
"The warehouse market in Szczecin is promising; it is developing into one of the most important logistics hubs, connecting trade and production between Poland and Germany, the Netherlands, and the Scandinavian countries. The total stock of warehouse space in this region increased after the first half of last year to over 800,000 sqm, which means a 14% year-on-year growth. The main factor building Szczecin's growing position in the warehouse segment is the increasing importance of e-commerce in trade and the presence of a qualified workforce. The logistics and warehouse hub will develop dynamically here, which is why we are building in Pomerania again" - explains Bartłomiej Krawiecki, Board Member, Head of Development at 7R.
