7R has started construction of its second 7R Green Saver facility. The tenant of the BTS facility, the first warehouse belonging to 7R Park Przylesie, is the Polish subsidiary of the Eberspächer group, a global supplier in the automotive industry.
7R Green Saver is a warehouse that meets four strictly defined ESG criteria set by the company for this product line. As a result, the building will achieve a minimum 50 percent reduction in operational CO2 emissions and a 70 percent reduction in primary energy demand compared to buildings constructed in accordance with Polish building law. Energy-saving solutions will help the tenant generate savings on operating costs. The warehouse has been designed to achieve BREEAM certification at the Outstanding level.
The first BTS building at 7R Park Przylesie meets the criteria of a 7R Green Saver warehouse, and in addition, it has been fully adapted to the individual needs of the client's process. We have implemented a number of technical adaptations, e.g., we increased natural lighting to 12.5 percent, improved ventilation quality, increased wall and roof insulation, and applied heat pumps and a BMS system. The building will be equipped with an electric vehicle charging station and ground-mounted photovoltaic panels – says Magdalena Kostjan, business development and leasing director at 7R.
The BTS being built in Przylesie near Opole has an area of 12,600 sqm and is the first facility of the new 7R Park Przylesie, which will ultimately offer approximately 270,000 sqm of warehouse and production space. It is located right next to the A4 motorway, 1.5 km from the Brzeg junction, 50 km south of Wrocław.
The tenant of the facility is Eberspächer Sütrak Poland. The company will manufacture air conditioning systems for electric, hybrid, and conventional buses and coaches.
