7R Park Bytom I – another 7R investment in Silesia

7R is preparing to start construction of 7R Park Bytom I. The project will be created in the spirit of ESG: it means the revitalization of 25 ha. of neglected land, will feature numerous eco-friendly solutions, and at the same time, the developer has established cooperation with local government authorities and is actively supporting the local community.

7R Park Bytom I will be built just 4.5 km from the center of Bytom, at a motorway and railway junction, and also near the Katowice Airport. Near the warehouse location, there are bus, tram, and train stops, which will be a significant convenience for future employees of the facility.

New buildings will be constructed on previously neglected and devastated areas. 7R will revitalize as much as 25 ha. of wasteland. The investment will generate new, attractive jobs. 7R Park Bytom I will have a well-being zone for employees, which will be equipped with ergonomic seats designed by young artists selected in the "7R Warehouse of art - Young art for the planet" competition, which the developer organized in cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Moreover, as part of the commitments related to the ESG strategy, the developer supported the local community by installing modern water dispensers in 13 educational institutions in Bytom. Equipped with filters and UV lamps, they provide children and youth with access to fresh water.

The warehouse park will be built using eco-friendly materials. Among the solutions applied will be, among others, photovoltaic panels, energy-saving LED lighting, and destratifiers reducing heat loss, which, combined with increased building insulation, will allow for lower operating costs.

Near the 7R Park Bytom I complex, there will also be a bicycle path, and electric car charging stations are planned on its premises. The project will be certified under the BREEAM system. 7R intends to achieve the Excellent level.

Ultimately, 7R Park Bytom I will consist of four buildings with areas of: approx. 14.5 thousand sqm, 15 thousand sqm, 32 thousand sqm, and nearly 60 thousand sqm. The total area of the four buildings will be over 121 thousand sqm. Construction of the first warehouse is scheduled to start in the second half of 2023.
