In Szczecin, construction of another facility within the WestSide complex has started. The WestSide Szczecin NXT project is the next step in the development of local logistics infrastructure, which already attracts large tenants from the start and strengthens the region's importance on the warehouse market.
Nearly 40 thousand sqm of modern space
The new building will provide approximately 39 600 sqm of space, combining the following functions:
- warehouse,
- service,
- office.
Already at the construction stage, approximately 30% of the space has been secured by one of the leading logistics operators. The completion of the investment is planned for the turn of 2026 and 2027.
Location with access to key routes
The complex is being built in the south-western part of the city, offering convenient access to:
- the A6 motorway,
- the DK13 national road,
- the center of Szczecin,
- the port complex of Port Szczecin-Świnoujście.
Such a location favors both domestic and international operations, especially in the context of the proximity to the border with Germany.
Flexible spaces and high functionality
The facility will be designed with various types of business activities in mind. Tenants will gain the ability to adapt the space to their own operational processes, which will translate into greater efficiency and work comfort.
Modern technologies and energy efficiency
The project involves the use of solutions that reduce energy consumption and operating costs, including:
- heat pumps instead of traditional heating sources,
- ventilation systems with heat recovery,
- preparation for photovoltaic installations,
- intelligent monitoring of utility consumption.
Additionally, materials with a reduced carbon footprint and systems supporting energy management will be used.
Infrastructure for modern logistics
The facility will also include:
- a sprinkler system compliant with NFPA standards,
- extensive fire protection infrastructure,
- electric vehicle charging stations,
- spaces for bicycles and micromobility.
The entire project will meet the requirements of BREEAM certification at the Excellent level.
General contractor and fast execution
The investment is being carried out by GOLDBECK, which uses prefabrication and modular construction technology, allowing for a shorter execution time and ensuring high quality of workmanship.
Green surroundings and a Miyawaki micro-forest
A distinguishing feature of the project will be the so-called Miyawaki micro-forest – a small but intensively developed green area that quickly creates a self-sustaining ecosystem.
Additionally, the investment area will be supplemented with relaxation zones and greenery, improving the comfort of users.
Szczecin strengthens its logistics position
The development of the WestSide complex shows that Szczecin is increasingly making its mark on the logistics map of Poland. The combination of access to the port, road infrastructure, and human resources means that the city attracts further investments and tenants from the industry.
