A new tenant in the Waimea Airport Logistics Park Szczecin-Goleniów investment.
PGD, a distributor of products for bakeries, confectioneries and ice cream parlors, occupied approximately 2,000 sq m. production and warehouse space with social facilities in the Waimea Airport Logistics Park Szczecin-Goleniów investment.We decided to move our logistics operations to a distribution center located only approximately 13 km from our previous location. We chose the area near the airport in Goleniów, which significantly increases our operational capabilities and optimizes distribution processes. The new distribution center also allows us to select additional space and plan further expansion. This is a key step in our development strategy, which will enable us to more scalably manage our logistics operations - explains Monika Pęksa, director of logistics and administration at PGD.
PGD occupied over 2,000 sq m. warehouse space, which will be complemented by an office of 165 sq m.
Waimea Airport Logistics Park Szczecin-Goleniów is a logistics center with an area of 7.5 thousand m2. sq m The park is located at the Szczecin-Goleniów Airport and in the immediate vicinity of the railway station, connected to the S6 and S3 expressways and the A6 motorway. It is located 8 km from the center of Goleniów and about 30 km from Szczecin.
Together with the actions already initiated to improve the infrastructure, such as: increasing the ILS category to cat. II with the involvement of European Commission funds from the CEF fund implemented by CINEA and the expansion of the passenger terminal, the Szczecin - Goleniów airport will become an even more attractive airport for other entrepreneurs.
