In Konstantynów Łódzki, on the grounds of the Łódź Special Economic Zone, another warehouse investment is being built. A modern hall with a total area of almost 4,000 sqm for Delia Cosmetics – a cosmetics manufacturer, is being built by Commercecon, a general contractor for industrial facilities. The new space will support the logistics processes carried out by the manufacturer.
Delia Cosmetics is a Polish manufacturer of cosmetics with over 25 years of tradition on the domestic cosmetics market and in foreign markets. The company is distinguished by a rich product portfolio (it owns three brands – Delia, Cameleo and Humanist), modern production plants and its own laboratories.
At the beginning of this year, the company announced new investment plans including further modernization and expansion of production plants near Łódź – in Rzgów and Konstantynów Łódzki. Thanks to these actions, the cosmetics manufacturer will be able to increase the capacity of the finished goods warehouse, and consequently improve the entire area of shipping logistics to customers. This is a response to the constantly growing market demand, systematic development of the product portfolio and increasing production efficiency.
In Konstantynów Łódzki, next to the company's existing production plant, a facility with a total area of 3750 sqm is being built, which – apart from the warehouse zone – will also include a two-story, modern office space. The investment is being carried out on the premises and with the support of the Łódź Special Economic Zone.
- The construction of the facility has just started. Delia Cosmetics has been consistently taking care of sustainable development for years, which is why the construction process will be carried out in accordance with the highest ecological standards. The building structure will be adapted to the photovoltaic installation planned for the roof, which is to help the company optimize energy costs – explains Robert Mróz, Construction Manager at Commercecon.
