Accolade to invest over 80 million EUR in the expansion of warehouses in Gorzów Wielkopolski

International investor Accolade has decided to expand its industrial park in Gorzów Wielkopolski.

The expansion of Gorzów Wielkopolski is divided into several stages. Completed and under-construction spaces are leased by tenants such as Omnipack, Logoplaste, Magma, Fiege, Faurecia, and Borne. The purchased plots will allow for the preparation of modern infrastructure for the growing needs of current tenants and the acquisition of new ones.

Gorzów Wielkopolski is a city that, over the years, as a result of historical and economic changes, has experienced ups and downs, repeatedly proving its entrepreneurship and readiness for development. I am convinced that the ability to transform from a heavy industry center and take advantage of the opportunities brought by the development of modern business is largely due to its residents, who form a community of people with initiative and energy to act. Today's Gorzów makes use of its excellent location, road infrastructure, and is increasingly marking its presence on the logistics and warehouse map of Poland. It clearly proves that it has a lot to offer - comments Michał Białas, Country Head Accolade Polska.

The complex in Gorzów Wielkopolski is located 8 kilometers from the city center and offers an excellent location close to the border with Germany, which constitutes great potential for entrepreneurs moving their logistics centers and light production to the Central and Eastern European region. Friendly living conditions for residents and urban infrastructure make this location also attractive for qualified staff.

Expanding our operations in Gorzów is a key element of strategic development along the western border, where we are also present in Goleniów, Szczecin, Zielona Góra, and Legnica. In our eyes, Gorzów Wielkopolski is an important warehouse and logistics hub, which also benefits from its location in the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone - one of the fastest-growing economic zones in Poland - added Michał Białas.

All new Accolade projects in Gorzów Wielkopolski aspire to a high BREEAM sustainability certificate at the "Excellent" level and feature a range of solutions focused on advanced ecological, highly energy-efficient systems and excellent water management. Accolade also strives to enrich the park's surroundings, in this case by landscaping the area with trees, shrubs, and flower meadows, as well as providing employees with additional amenities, such as charging stations for bicycles and electric vehicles or green architecture of the facility.
