Action expands logistics in Poland. New distribution center near Szczecin

The non-food discount chain Action has launched its fourth distribution center in Poland. The new facility was built in Dunikowo near Szczecin and is already the brand's 18th logistics center in Europe.

The investment is another step in expanding the company's logistics infrastructure, which is dynamically growing its chain of stores in Poland.

New center to serve growing chain of stores

The center in Dunikowo is crucial for serving the growing number of Action locations in the country. The facility is managed directly by the company and will eventually provide employment for about 400 employees.

The dynamic development of the chain in Poland requires further strengthening of the supply chain – currently, Action already has:

• 453 stores,
• over 6800 employees in the country.

The brand's first store in Poland was opened in 2017 in Leszno.

Ecological warehouse with the highest certification

The new distribution center was designed as a gas-free facility, meeting the highest environmental standards. The investment has obtained BREEAM Outstanding certification, which places it among the most ecologically advanced warehouse facilities.

The building incorporates a number of solutions to increase energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact, including:

• photovoltaic installations,
• intelligent energy and water management systems,
• LED lighting,
• infrastructure for electric vehicles.

Poland one of the key markets for Action

The launch of the new logistics center confirms the growing importance of Poland in Action's European strategy. The expansion of distribution infrastructure will allow the company to serve customers even more efficiently and support further market expansion.

The investment in Dunikowo fits into the trend of developing modern, sustainable logistics centers that combine high operational efficiency with environmental requirements.
