ALDI with a new distribution center near Warsaw. 150 jobs to be created
In Emilianów near Warsaw, at the CTPark Warsaw Emilianów business park, the third ALDI distribution center is being built. The 43,000 sqm warehouse will be commissioned in the first quarter of 2026
In connection with the launch of the center, ALDI plans to create nearly 150 new jobs.
ALDI in Poland has over 360 stores and employs over 4,800 people.
CTP is the largest stock-listed owner, developer, and manager of logistics and industrial real estate by gross leasable area, with 13.3 million sqm of GLA in 10 countries.
– The opening of the distribution center in Emilianów is a strategic step in the development of ALDI logistics in Poland. Thanks to the new location, we will significantly increase the flexibility and efficiency of our deliveries in the central and north-eastern part of the country. Just as importantly – the investment will allow us to be even closer to our customers, and thus respond more quickly to their needs – says Wojciech Łubieński, CEO of ALDI Polska.
The existing warehouse in Chorzów will continue to supply stores in southern Poland, while the Distribution Center in Lisie Ogon, opened in 2022, will continue to supply the northern regions.
In connection with the launch of the center, ALDI plans to create nearly 150 new jobs – both in operational, technical, administrative, and logistics areas.
The 43,000 sqm facility in Emilianów will also feature modern refrigeration infrastructure, enabling the handling of approximately 25% of deliveries requiring controlled temperature. The special cold storage zone is in line with the chain's strategy of delivering the highest quality fresh products - including fruit and vegetable assortments.
The warehouse is planned to have nearly 90 loading docks. The investment will significantly relieve the distribution centers in Bydgoszcz and Chorzów, which will translate into faster deliveries to ALDI stores in the following voivodeships: Mazowieckie, Warmińsko-Mazurskie, Podlaskie, Łódzkie, and Lubelskie.
In 2024, ALDI opened nearly 60 new stores. Currently, the chain has over 360 locations, and there are plans for further openings this year, including in the capital. The scale of expansion and the growing popularity of the brand in this part of the country is confirmed by the decision to build a new central distribution center in the Mazowieckie voivodeship. The facility uses a number of ecological solutions: a 500 kWp photovoltaic installation, transfer smoke extraction for cold stores, as well as the use of waste heat from the refrigeration system for floor heating and hot water preparation.

- The scale of the investment can also be evidenced by such solutions as: cold chain logistics technology, handling the receipt and shipment of several hundred trucks every day, and the availability of parking spaces for nearly 70 heavy goods vehicles - adds Flugel.
The facility is being built as part of the WEMI01 building. The new ALDI warehouse is another step towards efficient and responsible logistics that supports the chain's dynamic expansion on the Polish market.
