Aliexpress and Świat Przesyłek join forces

New parcel collection devices have appeared in Polish cities – the Aliexpress machine belonging to the Cainiao group has already been installed in, among others, Warsaw, Wrocław, Kraków, Poznań, and Łódź. The Polish company Świat Przesyłek is responsible for the logistics and operational processes.

Previous deliveries were possible only via classic postal services, whereas since this year, red and blue machines have been installed at an impressive pace throughout Poland.

The appearance of these devices in Poland is the result of cooperation between the Chinese group Cainiao and the company Świat Przesyłek - an alternative operator in the courier industry, which provides courier services in Europe and almost the entire world. – The development of a network of postal machine locations is an action we treat with a mission: we want Poles not to have to be dependent on postmen or couriers and to decide for themselves when and at what time they will collect their ordered items – says Piotr Kocoń, CEO of Świat Przesyłek. The entity is responsible for developing logistics and operational processes, preparing the delivery grid for the devices, and searching for locations for them – Interest in collection and drop-off points has been growing for years and is multi-channel: on one hand, they are of interest to the customers themselves, who appreciate the convenient form of collecting purchased items, and on the other, local entrepreneurs and landowners see a way for additional, stable income from rent – continues Piotr Kocoń.

Already now, Poles can collect their parcels from devices located in every voivodeship. The machines are located in Wrocław, Łódź, Warsaw, Katowice, Poznań, and many other Polish cities. The expansion strategy of the Cainiao group with the help of Świat Przesyłek assumes that the year 2022 will continue to be marked by expanding structures and increasing the number of devices in Poland. – The goal for the coming months is to activate 3000 machines in both large and smaller cities. The requirements for locations are small, as we are looking for plots of land with an area of 3 square meters in the vicinity of parking lots, with the possibility of making an electrical connection.
