Allegro to occupy 36,500 sqm at A2 Warsaw Park

Panattoni will prepare 36,500 sqm of warehouse space for Grupa Allegro - the largest online shopping platform in this part of Europe. The company will move into A2 Warsaw Park, a gigantic investment within a single building with an area of over 100,000 sqm, which is fully commercialized. The new location will allow Allegro to develop logistics services dedicated to companies selling on the platform and accelerate order fulfillment times.

Panattoni has been focusing on e-commerce for years, developing an offer dedicated to enterprises operating in the e-commerce sector. This time, the leader of Polish e-commerce – the company Allegro – chose to cooperate with the developer. The platform, which has been operating in Poland for 21 years, is currently one of the 10 most visited e-commerce sites in the world – approx. 20 million people per month (source: Gemius). They can take advantage of offers from approx. 125,000 companies. Nearly 80 percent of orders are delivered in 1-2 days, and in 2021 Allegro plans a series of initiatives, thanks to which even more orders will reach buyers within 24 hours. One of them will be the launch of a service allowing sellers to store and ship their assortment through a dedicated modern logistics center.

Allegro has leased 36,500 sqm, of which 33,541 will be occupied by the warehouse. It is there that comprehensive logistics services will take place - including storage, packing and shipping of parcels, as well as the fulfillment of orders and returns. As much as 2,783 sqm will be allocated for offices – specially designed to ensure employee safety and meet requirements related to the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, the tenant will benefit from 20 charging stations for electric cars, bicycle shelters, as well as a specially widened parking lot and a bus bay.

"The largest selection and the lowest prices on the market, as well as convenience, are the most important features of shopping on Allegro. Buyers expect fast deliveries, and we are working intensively to help sellers meet this expectation. We have already implemented, among others, the Fast Delivery Program and the same-day delivery option with PickPack and X-press Couriers couriers. We are not stopping there and are planning to launch a new service. The Allegro logistics center, being built in a modern warehouse in the center of Poland, will take over the most time-consuming and costly activities from companies, such as: storage, packing, shipping and handling returns. This will allow sellers to focus on increasing sales and promoting their offers, and will give buyers additional satisfaction from fast delivery." - comments Grzegorz Czapski from Allegro.

"Panattoni, responding to the needs of the largest e-commerce players such as Grupa Allegro, also meets the expectations of consumers themselves. It is thanks to dedicated solutions for e-commerce that the constantly growing group of platform users can count on the timely fulfillment of their orders" -  adds Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director at Panattoni  - "Already today, 70 percent of Poles use online shopping, also stocking up on essential items – which during the pandemic is of colossal importance for the functioning of not only society, but also the economy."

When choosing a location, Allegro opted for A2 Warsaw Park. The complex with a total area of nearly 104,000 sqm is already fully leased and was delivered in the middle of the pandemic situation – in June of this year – becoming the largest project on the warehouse market this year and the largest on the Warsaw market in general. The delivery of the facility was appreciated by the Prime Property Prize 2020 jury, which awarded the company for the Investment of the Year in the Logistics and Warehouse Space Market category. The building is located in the immediate vicinity of the A2 motorway, ensuring excellent connections with both the capital and Western European countries, including Germany.

The space within A2 Warsaw Park is intended for both storage and light production and is adapted to the needs of various tenants. They can use convenient maneuvering yards and entrance gates from the "0" level. Furthermore, the facility was prepared in accordance with the requirements of BREEAM certification.
