Atlas Ward Polska has completed another expansion of the Bridgestone factory in Stargard. The new warehouse and logistics facility is the third investment completed by the general contractor for the global tire production leader.Atlas Ward Polska managed the investment at the Bridgestone production plant in Stargard as a general contractor under the „Design and Build” system – from the multi-disciplinary design to construction and commissioning. The new facility serves as a Distribution Center for industrial tires for the EMIA markets, and its integration into the supply chain will optimize Bridgestone's logistics processes in this segment.
"In less than 3 years, the Investor has entrusted us with the general contracting of, among others, new vulcanization buildings, tire testing facilities, warehouses, and a forklift service center" – says Wojciech Tomaszewski, Director of the Szczecin Branch of Atlas Ward Polska – "In total, we have commissioned nearly 30,000 m2 of modern usable space at the Bridgestone plant in Stargard."
The warehouse has an area of approximately 15,000 m2. It has been connected to the existing plant by two special technical connectors. In the immediate vicinity of the facility, Atlas Ward Polska also constructed access roads, parking lots, and maneuvering areas. Construction work was carried out in a way that did not disrupt internal production processes or delivery logistics.
This is the third project jointly completed by Atlas Ward Polska and Bridgestone.
