BEGA Gruppe grows at MLP Poznań West

BEGA Logistik Polska, part of the BEGA Gruppe, has contracted another warehouse hall totaling approximately 6,500 sqm. Once built, it will use a total of approximately 33,000 sqm of modern space at the MLP Poznań West logistics park.

BEGA Logistik Polska, part of the furniture manufacturer BEGA Gruppe, is developing dynamically at MLP Poznań West. Under the signed agreement, it has ordered another warehouse hall totaling approximately 6,500 sqm of space. After its construction and handover, the furniture manufacturer will have a total of just over 33,000 sqm of space at its disposal. Of this, nearly 32,700 sqm will be dedicated to warehouse purposes, while offices and social areas will account for the remaining 370+ sqm.

In line with the developer's strategy, the new hall will meet BREEAM certification requirements, which will translate into lower operating costs. General contractor works have been entrusted to the Poznań-based company WPIP, which has many years of experience in constructing warehouse facilities.

BEGA Logistik Polska belongs to the German BEGA Gruppe. BEGA Gruppe is engaged in the wholesale trade of furniture. Since its inception in 2002, BEGA Gruppe has gained a leading position in the European market. Its assortment includes almost all types of furniture – living room, children's, office furniture, tables, chairs, upholstered furniture, kitchen furniture, etc. These include both assembled and ready-to-assemble furniture.

We subject all newly built facilities to the BREEAM certification process. We install photovoltaic panels on the roofs of warehouses, and we place bicycle shelters, electric car charging stations, and insect hotels on the park grounds. Our Group cares not only for the natural environment at every stage of investment implementation but also for the comfort of the logistics park users,” emphasized Agnieszka Góźdź, Member of the Management Board, Chief Development Officer, MLP Group S.A.

The modern distribution center MLP Poznań West is a complex located on the western side of Poznań, next to the S11 expressway and just 7 km from the junction of the A2 motorway and the S11 route. The center is primarily aimed at companies in the e-commerce, logistics, distribution, and light manufacturing sectors. The MLP Poznań West project will ultimately provide over 140,000 sqm of state-of-the-art warehouse and office space. Selected buildings hold the prestigious BREEAM certificate.
