BGK to finance Hillwood investment in Szczecin

Hillwood has signed a loan agreement with BGK bank for approximately 5.1 million euros for the construction of a logistics park in Szczecin.

The warehouse under construction is Hillwood's first investment in this area. The building with an area of 4908 sqm is being built in a build-to-suit (BTS) system, i.e., on order and according to the client's guidelines.

"We are very pleased to start cooperation with Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. All the more so because we are starting our cooperation with a very interesting investment in a perfectly developing location on the warehouse map of Poland. Szczecin has huge potential – it has been enjoying the interest of tenants for several years now, as a result of which this region can boast one of the lowest vacancy rates in the country. I am convinced that this will be the beginning of a very successful cooperation between our company and BGK bank" – says Hubert Michalak, President of the Management Board of Hillwood Polska.

"Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego actively supports the socio-economic development of the country. We are starting our cooperation with the Hillwood group - a leader in the logistics and industrial space market from the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, but the investments will cover areas of most voivodeships" – says Mateusz Tur, Director of the Lubuskie Region of BGK, who is responsible for the implementation of the agreement on a national scale. -  "We are extremely pleased to start cooperation with the group."
